Since so many MP's are here.. Whats the policy on my Laser/Radar Detector? I heard it actually can be confiscated on post.

Some Shafter MP was giving me a hard time the other day.

Hmm I was always told it is not allowed on any federal installation. I don't think we would confiscate it. I'm not too sure as I don't work the road, but that doesn't pass my common sense test.

Special K, were you following me today. hahaha I saw your ride at lunch and then later on at the gym. I figured that would be too weird if I started looking around the gym for a guy doing curls.

Last I checked, radar and laser detectors are legal. Radar jammers are illegal, while laser jammers are legal.

Hey everyone. I'm moving to Hawaii in 2 weeks, and I was wondering if you guys could share the dealership you went to and the price you got your cars at.. along with the trim. People have been telling me that Hawaii charges more...

I'm really interested in getting one... I was looking at the g37.. but the 370z has grown on me. anyway, thanks in advance to everyone! I'm going to be in salt lake btw.

That's pretty much sums up my experience, except that I never made it to King Windward and I got my Z using VPP at NCN.

I was a little pissed off about the marks on the rear bumper but the same day I brought it home my neighbor backed into it. (More little marks nothing major).

Do not go to Tony Nissan. I went there and waited over an hour for a sales person. There were in a meeting, and when a sales person finally got to me it didnt feel like he was trying to sell me the car.

He didnt want to let me test drive it bc he had somewhere to go.

I honesty suggest New City Nissan @ Kalihi. 808-524-9111 Ask for Antonio. He took care of me. He spent about an hour taking out my subs, amps, and cap from my old car. He also called me to ask if I needed gas several times.

I paid $32K for my 370Z Touring + Sport.

$32,000 Car + Tax tag & registration
$12,000 Trade-In
$20,000 Loan from Pentagon Federal Credit Union @ 3.9% APR
