What are we seeing?

JENZ 02-01-2014 06:36 PM

I dunno...... your car!!!!!!!!

SS_Firehawk 02-01-2014 07:21 PM

If we are meeting up, let me know, I'll be heading to the NW side of town in a couple hours. My car needs a serious bath.

Infamous 02-01-2014 10:39 PM

Ha sorry jen. We did a quick drive on bd to i15 and back. It was a spur of the moment thing.

SS_Firehawk 02-01-2014 11:08 PM

Yeah, definitely. We had a bit of fun. I had to go to my sister's, so it was a quick 30 min. Both cars ran strong, it was good fun.

JENZ 02-01-2014 11:21 PM

It's cool. Not like I'd be able to keep up!!!!

Coilovers and camber parts are getting installed next weekend!!!!

Hotrodz 02-01-2014 11:22 PM

I would love to get together with you guys sometime here in the near future. Three boosted cars with three different sits ups!!!

Infamous 02-01-2014 11:24 PM

Where abouts do you live hotrodz? FI TT, correct?

JENZ 02-01-2014 11:25 PM

I'd love to see the FI TT kit!

Although I am really starting to dig the BP kit too! The one thing I see as a hiccup there is the placement of the intake filter. It's great to have it right on the turbine, however it seems like one good puddle would do you in. That worries me because as we all know, sometimes our Vegas roads get some deep puddles that are deceptive in appearance. At least from what I've seen on Durango or on Buffalo between Warm Springs and Blue Diamond.

SS_Firehawk 02-01-2014 11:33 PM

For sure! That BP kit looks so clean. I could clearly hear the car spool up and just slingshot forward. I definitely noticed his midrange was stronger. I had to be in the right gear to keep my car over 5k to keep up. Once I was there, we were running door to door. I might have been pulling a bit at the top end, regardless, it was a blast. I really wanna see your car Hotrodz. I hate to hear the bickering between which kits are best, I'm a big fan of all of them. Each one delivers 100% of what they advertise.

FYI Infamous, what was that Stang doing? He was engulfed in exhaust fumes and tire.

I live in Kingman, AZ. I'm about 1.5 hour from Vegas. Me and my wife come there fairly often for shopping, food and entertainment. She bought me some lap time a the Richard Petty Experience for my birthday back in June, so I think we are going to head to Vegas the weekend of the 22nd for that. Yes, I have the FI TT kit.

I hear ya on the deep puddles, but they should not be a problem unless you are speeding through them or the water is more than two feet high, then you shouldn't be driving across anything like that anyway. I think you might change your mine anyway after you see the numbers with e85. If they are anything like the numbers on race fuel, well that will be ridiculous for a stage 1 setup.

Infamous 02-02-2014 12:04 AM

That stang was feeling left out and left behind! I'm still scared to push the car past 6500 rpm and wot until I get a proper tune. I like how he took off at the rainbow light on us. That's awesome hotrodz, I wanted the FI kit before my accident and replacement BP z.

Hotrodz 02-02-2014 12:23 AM

Yeah, I don't think you can go wrong with either turbo kit. The FI kit make power so fast, I'm above red line before I know it, especially in 3rd gear. The boost just does not let off!

I would really recommend going to SpecialtyZ for your tune. Seb will make sure you get the most out of your tune and it will be safe as well. He is not one to tune on the ragged edge! Beside the ride home, you can really see how she performs!
