I have lived in Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale and now in the dreaded Aves on the westside. I think its all the same. Scottsdale does have better stores and public services, far less homeless people than Phoenix. I like the Aves as long as you pick a good neighborhood. I guess thats what I am saying just look at the area not the name. Everywhere is cheap right now so pick where you like
