Default Body Shops in Denver

Looking to get a Aero Jacket type iii wing installed. Anyone know a good body shop in the Denver/Boulder area?

I'm looking to move to the Denver area in the next year, I have a question about emissions. My Z in supercharged, with HFC's and exhaust, am I going to have troubles passing emissions? Thanks in advance!

I don't know about Denver... But just move to El Paso country and no emissions tests at all! I don't think emissions are TOO strict in Colorado though...

I toasted my tranny at the track and the dealer dropped in a new one as part of my power train warranty.

According to my service advisor "the z is meant to be driven hard"

Lots. CAI. HFC. CBE. JWT clutch/ flywheel. Z speed throwout bearing. a few more. (See my sig). None of it mattered to the dealer. (Highlands ranch Larry Miller Nissan ). Other dealerships were not as cool. I think it pays to visit a few and find a service department you like.

I even had an Uprev tune on. They gave me zero grief swapping out the gearbox.

I would love to get together for an afternoon and do some brake upgrades with you guys.

I am still looking for someone brave enough to crack open and paint their headlights with me. I don't want to face it alone but think it is very doable.

I'm thinking matte black or dark grey on my silver Z

Chicken! I'm in with you, my biggest issue is I want to. I like the look but it seems everyone is doing it so that is why I dont want too. If you wanna get together about brakes I'm in I need to put on some lines.

Have any of you experienced a faint, but very noticeable buzzing/rattling in your interior? I can't find it while driving; it's coming from somewhere on the passenger side, so i need to get a passenger in the car to try pressing on panels to see if i can find out where it's coming from.

I wonder if the dealer would mess with something like that.

I've got a buzz that harmonizes with high power 5-8k rpm from the rear/hatch , and road bump rattle somewhere in my passenger door on rough roads. It is all mostly drown out by road noise. Let's put it this way. I keep earplugs handy for long drives and crank my bose to 25.

Th z is no Mercedes for silence

Sounds like exhaust is probably touching something on the underside. Sometimes at idle, there is enough clearance, but the engine will torque when under load and shift the plumbing slightly enough to rub and create a rattle/buzz.

I fought with fixing this on my ARK exhaust for a long time. Finally fixed it by adding a piece of dog chew rawhide between the pipe and crossmember that it was rubbing on. There's probably a better way I am going to have an exhaust shop notch it out for more clearance eventually.
