EcuTek RaceRom Feature Request Thread !

It's true, EcuTek is hard at work writing the custom code they promised you months ago. But are they doing everything you want?

The best time to get the things YOU want is while EcuTek is actually working on the project.

So let's gets a list of things you want to come out of this, I will continue to update this first post.

-On-The-Fly Map Switching (Rev counter is driven during map switch mode)
--Injector Size
--Ignition Map
--Main Fuel Map

-On-The-Fly Adjustable Launch Control
--Fuel Enrichment
--Timing Adjustment

-Flat-Foot-Shifting
--Fuel Enrichment
--Timing Adjustment

-VE Based Speed Density

-ECU Based Boost Control

-ECU Based Performance Traction Control

-Adjust Fuel Consumption Gauge

Wasn't there something about being able to tweak traction control as well?

Yup.. anything else?

Is it possible to make the oil temp gauge read more precisely, alter the clock digital gauge to display coolant temp, or somehow alter fuel delivery to prevent long left hand turn fuel starve?

Just some crazy ideas, especially the last one since its more of a physical issue rather than electronic.

I dont think that the clock is driven via the CANBUS and I dont know anything software wise that will help with what seems to be a gas tank issues during extreme situations

John

Keep them coming!

Oh I got one related to traction control, possibly make it so when you turn off VDC, its 100% off instead of 90% off, and perhaps have 2-3 traction control levels?

Chuck33079 12-16-2013 10:11 PM

The "miles to empty" and mpg display aren't driven off the CANBUS, right? So there's nothing they'll be able to do to recalibrate it for larger injectors?

Torque management for 7AT guys that you told me about over the phone, and shift point if possible.

If synchro rev match is programmed purely by ecu? Then can they program it in for us non sport models.
