You are correct that the stillen cables are locked to their tune. All you can do is upload the premade tune from them, if you want to change it at all you have to buy a new license from uprev. The Osiris license is $300, and you only need one for your ecu. Not sure how you bought 4 of them.

If you are getting tuned at an uprev tuner shop they will have a shop "protuner" cable that can tune your Osiris license. If you want to be able to tune it yourself you need the $700 tuner version cable. ($300 for the license, $200 for the cipher cable, $200 for the tuner verison upgrade)

If you bought the $200 cable ($220 shipped) all you have is the cipher cable, it cannot flash the ecu or tune at all.

You need the osiris standard or tuner version cable in order to flash the ecu.

If you want to do any tuning yourself you need the tuner version cable.
