What's involved with this option? I'm a complete noob when it comes to tuning, so do I need to mail the ecu or are their instructions that come with the purchase for DIYers?

No need to send us your ECU or anything. Essentially we sell you and Osiris standard(which comes with a cable). You perform some datalogging on the street and we get you all tuned up within a few emails. let me know if you are interested and we can get ya all set up.
