So........there is some testing going on. At least that is what one can infer from this conversation. I hope that they get it going...........

GTM is currently working on a VVEL controller that will independently control valve lift, however I'm not sure of an updated status as Sam said that they were still working on it a few months ago and has not given us an update recently.
|
Sam will let us know when it's going to be released. Should be a great product.
|
Staying tuned...
I'd be surprised if this didn't net decent gains both NA and boosted. |
We could really use some more TQ
|
I hope this is not gonna cost an arm and a leg...

True that.... But if the gains are there people will buy it. |
Do we know what kind of gains we can expect?
|
So I'm guessing this would something similar to the Honda's VTEC controller? Not something that will be done on a tune.+1 for need MORE TQ. LOL

Dont think there is any info of gains. Some say the gains wont be that crazy, then I hear from some that it will be like putting aftermarket cams in the car and its going to really wake the Z up. |
I never heard back from GTM, I emailed them again and told them that many of us 370z owners are interested in when it might be ready, what power gains might we expect... any info that they could offer basically.

If you want a quick response you need to call GTM and talk to Sam. |
