your car wont blow up without a tune. You are probably running lean which means that you have more air than fuel than the optimal air/fuel raito due to your breather mods(exhaust & intake). A tune will bring it back the correct air/fuel ratio and prob give you a little more power if done right. Also AAM sells a pre-installed tune with the COBB accessport device, there is a big thread on it
