Mines new ECU

Im not sure if this has been posted before but I was At the Mines site and they have a 370Z project going on and I saw this new ECU they have;

Mines Motor Sports

Has anyone seen this before or know anything about it?

Also man have you seen the prices on some of the things they have for the Z? Outrages.

Wow they say they've been able to manipulate the VVEL properly...

# CVTC (continuous valve timing control - intake side) modification
# eVTC (electro-magnetic valve timing control – exhaust side) modification

Me want... :drool:

I think that's the same ECU that AE Performance is using on their time attack 370z.

Edit: Just saw they claim to manipulate the VVEL. Might want to PM Paul at AE Performance for more information.

I agree...who in there right mind would pay those prices? If you can afford to drop $350 on air filters...you should be driving something more expensive than a 370Z

It adjusts the duration and lift of the cams. Our cars have actual cams on the exhaust side and actuators on the intake side.

I say we start a collection for money from this forums community...bribe one of the Mines technicians for the secrets to cracking VVEL tune...then share the info with Cobb and UpRev. :stirthepot:

ok this is probably a stupid question but JWT makes good products for Z's including engine internals. I know Brian Crower made different stage cams for the 350 are they going to be making them for the 370 or is it completely different?

Completely different because the 370 doesn't use traditional grind cams. It has that eccentric cam that is like a fake cam with a little DC motor to advance and retard the timing according to throttle position.
