Wow, those are some epic numbers!
Good stuff. UPREV is real big in the VQ community, and they never cease to impress.

True that, it's one reason GTM uses their flash in most of their turbo kits

Surprised more people are not commenting on a 30hp gain from a tune.

I just realized this tuner is in Dubai....dammit

G37Sam 01-31-2010 04:17 PM

The 30whp gain is also due to shifting from 7200 to 7600 RPM too, I didn't make the claim and run away, I scanned my dyno sheet for you and posted up

Great results!
Would love to get a clip of how your whip sounds!

G37Sam 01-31-2010 04:44 PM

I posted dyno video's in my first post did you miss them?

Is it just me or is 260 whp with intake test pipes and catback even on a mustang dyno crazy low? Id imagine the gain from the tune is in large part from correcting what you apparently didnt gain from breather mods. Nonetheless assuming u were at 240 whp stock thats still a 50 whp gain if ur at 290 now with tune.

+1 True...
Shouldn't you have atleast high 270's stock?
I thought you would have at least 314.

theDreamer 01-31-2010 05:04 PM

I think 240 was his baseline with some mods, but he went back with more and ran 262 before he got a tune and then 290+ after the tune.
You guys have to realize, not all dynos are the same, yes it is a Mustang but that does not mean it is going to read like ones in the states. Weather conditions, altitude, etc. all play factors into these read outs.

G37Sam 01-31-2010 05:10 PM

+1 to what Dreamer is saying. Mustang Dyno's aren't the same. You can choose the "load" you want that dyno to have before buying it depending on HP ratings of the cars you'll be dyno'ing. That Mustang Dyno could measure up to 2000AWHP I believe.. so you can imagine how low it will read for us. I did put down 262whp with all the breathers, didn't do a dyno run when I was totally stock so I can't comment on that however, on a dyno day a while back on a dynojet, my car put down around 30 horses more than a bone stock G37

Ah icic!
Thanks for clarifying guys!
Car sounds sick btw!

Wow great results Sam. Now it's just a matter of time before we start to see more of these results over here.

What octane fuel are you using over there?

Equivalent of the 93 Octane that you guys use I believe

Ah ok, nice. I didn't know if you guys got something higher over there or not. Thanks:tiphat:

How much do these tunes cost? And do you have to buy a kit first then buy the time on the dyno too?
