The rule-of-thumb is:
* Intake mods only = no tune required * Exhaust mods only = no tune required * Intake mods + exhaust mods = tune required In the first two instances, the ECM can usually adjust to compensate for the mods. FWIW, I agree with Chuck33079 about the flames. YMMV
