Look at my signature for what components I have with the EcuTek tune that I just got last week.

Darkchrix 05-31-2017 04:02 PM

so ? what do i need to understand

your gas?
wich dyno ?

wanker 05-31-2017 04:25 PM

Temperature can affect a dyno by as much as 15 hp. Also EcuTek > Uprev.

FWIW, I'm a bit skeptical of the design of the Takeda cold air intakes.

Just my two cents.

Darkchrix 05-31-2017 04:30 PM

me too but it seems similar exeprt the filters

nomodsjk 05-31-2017 05:12 PM

Yea ive had a difference of around 15whp and the only thing that changed was the temperature outside when it was dyno'd

TreeSemdyZee 05-31-2017 06:10 PM

I just had mine done with Ecutek.
I've got 115,000 miles.

K&N Typhoon intake, Z1 intake plenum, Borla CBE, Motordyne headers and HFCs and lightweight flywheel.

6 spd manual on a Dynojet.

320 hp, 259 ish ft/lb

Tire pressure, tire position on the roller, there are so many variables. The end number really doesn't matter much, you need to compare before and after numbers from the same dyno, preferably from the same day. There's always going to be someone with a high dyno sheet, doesn't necessarily mean their car is making more power it could just be that machine reads a little higher.

I'm using ECUTek, Berk HFC, FI CBE, Stillen G3 Intake:

Base run was: 303 HP @ 7400 / 244 TQ @ 5200
Final run was: 316 HP @ 7400 / 251 TQ @ 5100

My AFR wasn't too far off, so I was surprised by how much I gained actually.

This is a good read about Dyno variables if you have a moment, its not real long, and it gives actual examples.

ok thx for the numbers i understand now
i went to 1/4miles today

13.77 @ 105mph
i was unable to get a nice launch with those tire and auto tranny
i was drifting on first and second gear

285/35/20 ( GTR WHEELS )

some people post 12.9 @ 104 mpg so my reaction time + my start pas prob bad

JTM88 06-01-2017 08:07 AM

Reaction time doesn't affect your ET

Think I found your problem, drifting and drag racing are two different kind of racing :D

Darkchrix 06-01-2017 11:16 AM

I think its my gtr rims .. too heavy and big

Chuckles 06-01-2017 03:23 PM

Its not the rims. Its throttle control. I'm guessing you're to heavy on the gas. Everyone does it the first time they are at the strip or track. It fairly amazing how much faster you can go with the same car when you can smooth out your inputs. Getting to be a pro at that will drop more time that different rims ever could. That just my two cents. YMMV

gbrettin 06-01-2017 03:43 PM

You are running 91 octane... That might account for some of the issue. Others are getting more aggressive with their tunes with better gas.
