Yeah I Shot Him A PM a week ago....gave him my email address and we chatted about it in more detail....email is a lot better to get a hold of him as he doesn't get on the forum daily like most of us....he myt have been bz with a backed up schedule when u first tried to Inquire about it....When I initially sent him a PM after reading his response on the GTM Supercharger he was doing live remote Tuning on with EcuTek he didn't respond to me until a few days later.....I'm currently saving up to make the switch over.

Email is the best way to get a hold of him. He responds to emails in the order they are received. And with that said he dyno tuned my car last night at pure automotive. I was completely surprised bc we havent really been in touch, but him and my shop worked for 20 hrs yesterday and got my tune done really late last night so i havent gotten all the details yet. I'll wait for him to contact me bc i think he drove all the way back to ct from md after he was done.

Great numbers and congratulations! I think they tune to e70 to compensate for any margin of error with the flex fuel sensor. I have yet to get an ethanol reading of above 83%.

hjo1078 10-30-2015 09:28 AM

thankyou hotrodz, Man you get up to 83% ? highest ive been seeing around my way is like 72-73% Either way im very happy and cant wait to see what 700 feels like =)

Hotrodz 10-30-2015 10:58 AM

I can't imagine 700, 600 is a wild ride...yep, the ethanol here is pretty good stuff. I consistently at 82! Can't wait to hear your review...

hjo1078 10-30-2015 12:27 PM

well once i pick her up in i'll def write up a review for you guys.

Thank you.

i can name some advantages for you, but as far as disadvantages i cant think of any.

1. on the fly map switching, im pretty sure i wasnt able to do this on uprev but its very useful for me when im on the street and someone tries to test me, I can switch to map 4 and call it a day all while driving.
2. Flex fuel- Lets u run any mixture of pump gas or ethanol, or e85 whatevers convenient for u.
3. Built in TRC with a temp highjack
4. Launch control- super easy to engage, easy as turning vdc off, put into gear, and hit the gas and clutch at the same time.
5. no lift shifting- you can shift while never letting go of ur gas.
6. No need for a boost controller

and i cant think of anything else at the moment.

oh damn i thought of a disadvantage: You cant self tune with ecutek but with uprev you can. But im no tuner so its not really a disadvantage.

i wish i knew the answer bro, all i know is that it is still utilizing the solenoid from my old boost controller, thats why i was selling my boost controller without the solenoid. Ask your tuner about it, he may be able to give u better answers. My boost controller just ended up being a boost gauge for a while so i took it out. i dont miss it or anything lol
