That's exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
I don't suppose there is a traction control video is there?

There is but I dont think there's one on a Z, just on different cars. Check YouTube. I found a ton on the GTR and misc cars..

Seb has a couple, Visconti has a ton and EcuTek International has a ton. Give it a look. The rom seems promising.....

Yeah, I saw a bunch of those but I imagine it's basically 100% different between the Z and the GTR. The GTR has insane traction control/torque splitting, etc stock. Whereas VDC is lame as F lol

Saw that, looking for the traction control feature. With the wheel slip adjustment, etc.

Maybe I can have you guys check out my tune after the fact. A second opinion never hurts. Do you offer any kind of eTune service? You guys are about 2 hours from me.

Yes. Three of us are doing it, it's the move to make without question. In this case I think you're definitely getting what you pay for

I think a lot of you don't really understand what's even close to being possible and what's not!

No, they have zero plans on touching the TCM on these cars

Thxs Visconti - that was very informative! Looking forward to this!

Visconti mentioned that the EcuTek can utilized the OEM display and feature the A/F via the OEM display and exhibit Boost control interface on the stock dash display.

Visconti can you shed some light on the aforementioned feature stated above and on the prerequisites that are required to enable the Boost control feature via the stock interface (ECU) instead of some third-party Boost Controller???

And do we need a MAC 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid - Haltech, AEM, etc????

arnoldas 07-26-2015 12:45 AM

did anyone switch over to e85 and are running using ecutek?

Yes. I am gonna install my oem gauges back in my car just so i can have these features.
But i am looking for a new spot for them bc i dont wanna take my defi gauges out. Im thinking of rigging it on my visor but not sure cuz the cluster is pretty big. Wouldnt fit in the glove at all.
And the guy below, i am running e85 with flex fuel. Once u go e85 you will never want anything else in your car. And if there are no e85 stations around u can go right back to pump no problem. You can mix as u much pump/e85 as u want.

Thank your for the response, one more quick questions. I hear lots of people saying that you dont need to swap the fuel pump or the lines and only need to get gtr injectors? Is that true and safe to do?

hjo1078 07-27-2015 09:32 PM

I swapped all that stuff and im still maxing out my injectors. So im upgrading to 1300id injectors.
But then again its diff for every build.
