I might have a video of my GPS speed as I max out a particular gear. lol its amazing how far off your speedo becomes.

well we dont need the video evidence. i am more curious as to how off it is and at what speeds etc... just the info. nothing wityh incriminating evidence lol

Id have to look at it again, but the speedo was reading (80+km/hr) and I believe the gps was in the ballpark of 60km/hr.

:)

Thats on 305s as well, so not 100% stock in terms of tire height

Yeah at slower speeds its not enough to be concerned about. But when you take that percentage your out, the difference between your actual and indicated speeds grow as you get faster.

I also used a radar detector gps which doesn't update as fast as you would like, but when holding a constant speed its right on the money.

:yum:

Thought I was going to have a heart attack. As a side note the factory brakes can only stop her 3 times from that speed before they go full fade.

Just from switching from the stock Sport setup to 275/35 on 18s, I get a ~5-7 mph difference between GPS and the speedometer in the ~80-130-ish mph range (speedo reads high). I'm surprised UpRev hasn't offered a correction for rear end ratio and tire circumference like many programmers do on other cars. Perhaps there's some limitation in the stock ECU itself that's difficult to work around?

UpRev makes no money on licenses and doesn't give a damn about us.
That's the real truth

It only takes a small rock or bird or whatever to end your life.

LOL, I take pics near that speed...on the Autobahn also...lol

It's not that they don't make any money on licenses they just don't make as much as other platforms so we are the last to get development allocated towards our extra complicated ecu. If our cars were as easy to decode and as plentiful as say the puke's motor then we would have more stuff by now. Uprev apparently has also had issues over the last half decade of their main programmers going elsewhere.

just to clarify that he is saying 160mph or 258kph just to avoid metric confusion.
