????????? my A## you dont, Ive had two turbo cars and had both chipped. Got around 50 hp and 80 TQ from the chip. You gain more from a chip on a turbo than a NA car and it sure as hell means more power and Nissan sucks with their warrenty stuff compared to most others.

I want to launch the car at 1900 rpm. Right now i leave the line at 1100 rpm. The tires spin. With the drag radials there should be no tire spinning . If Sam gets me the 28 to2900 rpm torque converter (stall) The times will even be faster. I have found that what ever you gain on your 60 ft times usally gives you an extra 1/3 off your 1/4 mile times. if i get 1 second it will lower my times by 1.3 at the other end or the track
We will find out in 4 months when the track opens.

So spinning the tires and still getting a good 60 ft. On a regular road, using my Gtech, I was getting around 2 secs for my 60 ft but still came out with a 0 60 of 5 secs. Im trying to get under 2 secs for my 60 ft. (on a regular road of course)

No.

You can modify an ECU to change an engine tune. But most of the power your getting on a turbo car from a tune comes from increased boost and timing changes. The amount of power you gain depends on how aggressive the tune is and how much boost is added. It dosnt matter how many turbos are on the engine. And if you think Nissan warranties suck then you are clearly naive.

Well Duh, thats called chipping. Dude Ive had numerous cars from numerous companies and Nissan really does try to get out of warrenty work. I dont know what cars you had but all my others never worried about my car being modified they just fixed it even if the modification caused it. And if the two turbos are differnt sizes and you have them both tuned they will increase power at different times hence more power from the two than the one. So you are saying that the companies out there right now making TTs for the Z really only need one to get the same power? So the GTR can take out one of its turbos and still be just as fast?

You both are talking about the same thing. Merc I'm 100% sure you knew what he was talking about. Freaking semantic-nazi.

Good news guys, the stillen headers are on and so is the NXT underdrive pulley. Ive been busy with the Cobb and changed the throtle position settings.
The timing has also been bumped by 2 degres ( not done with the Cobb) and the Stillen CBE now fits. All the mods are on and in a week or too it will hit the dyno with the 305 ,35. 18 drag radials. Im looking for a little higher rwhp #. 308 to 310 SAE, = 318 to 320 STD rwhp.
If it was a 6 Mt it would make more power, My goal is to go 12.58 to 12.62 in the 1/4 mile NA in my 370sport 7 AT.The track opens in April.
GTM SC= 11.70 ( time will tell ).

Just got back from the dyno at it made 320.1 rwhp and 257.1 lbs of torque. Its running a little lean and i have to add fuel to the engine to richen it up .
13.68 A/F at 7950 rpm. 13. 9 to 14.1 between 5000 and 6500.
I tried a few test runs up to 120 km today and it goes like a bat out of hell.
I ran sunoco 94 for fuel with the stock 19 inch sport rims and tires
will post dyno charts this weekend.
All the N/A modes are now on the car.

I put on the 305 35 18 drag radials tonight and took the car out for a few test run.s
There is a difference in weight of 5.5 lbs from the sport 19's to the 18 x 10.5 volk t37's with the drag radials. Thats 11 lbs of the drive line of the car and you can feel the difference. You can feel the diference in mid to high rpms.
Traction is much better than the stock tires. I had 30 lbs of air in then can not wait till i take them down to 20 or 16 lbs.
If it does not rain on friday night im off to the track.
They fit perfectly on the 370z.

if it does not rain on friday night i will be at the drag strip.
i drove the car to the golf course 8 km, car handled well on them, there is one big difference, the ride was a lot quieter. no tire noise.
I will post time on saturday, the weather does not look good for friday night,
