Is it possible to have "too much traction"? You probably want just a little wheel spin off the line to get you up to speeds quicker maybe and with DR's on our cars, that might not be easy, not without a pair of snails at least.

No such thing as "too much traction", just "not enough motor". Good times regardless! |
Need more motor, GTM stage 2 and a 3200 rpm stall torque converter.
Coming soon. The guy with the G 37( stillen SC,) had toyo TR 888's and he launched at 1800 rpms and he broke the drivers side cv joint on the rear axil. |
Was going to the track tonight Temp is a cool 48 degrees. But it rained all day and night.
will have to wait till next weekend. I put the stock sport rear tire's back on the car. Z |
Going to the track with the new motordyne intake manifold.
Time will tell if it works. It should give me a better 60 ft and 1/8 times. Z |
When are you expecting the torque converter, Steve?
|
2 weeks ago !!!!!! Hope fully buy Oct 22. Then i need to get it installed .
And i hope that the tracks will still be open. Traction will be a major issue as the temps get colder. The track will only be parsally prepped, Z |
Hopefully it all happens in time so you can set a new best before the end of the year!
|
Come on Steve get it done!! I need a new goal.woohoo
|
It looks like this coming friday night, High of 48 low of 42 degress no rain in sight.
It could be the last friday night that the track is open. Going with the the stock 19's . sport tires. the new motordyne intake and we will see what she runs. Chris is bringing his car with his intake and F1 exhaust. Z |
Man I wish I had an F1 exhaust lol! That would make the car really quick!
