I remember from years ago the G Analyst units you could get that would measure acceleration (in terms of Gs), which could be pretty useful in working on launch optimization.

G Analyst - Newer, Better, Cheaper Replacement?
I remember from years ago the G Analyst units you could get that would measure acceleration (in terms of Gs), which could be pretty useful in working on launch optimization. Anyone know of a good, more modern alternative that is sub $100?
What I've been told (I have no first hand empirical evidence) is that smartphone apps are not a good substitute as the phone's accelerometer doesn't have the same fidelity as a unit built for track purposes. Please correct me if I am misinformed. |
