I would say a SRT treatment brings the same level of upgrades as M for BMW. New engine, brakes, suspension, body-work, wheels/tires, interior, etc.

Actually, what you should have made bold was the top priority part.

If BMW's balance OR driving dynamics don't qualify for this, WHAT THE HELL DOES?
You can't just build a car, and THEN decide to make it handle. That's where the honda ricers are screwing up.
And by your definitions, most Ferrari's won't fit, nor a CCX, nor an F1. A porsche is mid/rear engined... and are FAMOUS for making people lose it in the corners.
A Viper.. I've never seen one complete a track day without a MAJOR failure. Plus.. 8.4Liters, but 600horsepower? BMW gets 500 out of 5!

You talked down on "Honda ricers" and went on to mention HP/L in the same post.

Can I have a few minutes of my life back?

It was more of a reference to how bad the american manufacturers are.
I've never owned anything less than a 6cyl/200hp car(z31). The versa rental I had was terrible enough :icon17:

I'm still waiting to hear what really is a sports car.

I think the OP has an advance copy of Forza Motorsport 3 and is just teasing us with his game play experience. :)

:icon18:how did you knowww?????? lol

by the way e39 m5 = sport/ luxury

370z= sport

911 turbo= sport

but just because the e39 m5 is sp/lux doesnt mean its not a sports car. its a luxurious sports car. the e39 body m5 is one of my favorite cars out there. if i was rich i would pay bmw to make me a brand new car with the body of the e39 m5, but im not and im not buying a used sports car :shakes head:

Here's the actual dictionary definition...

Quote:

Main Entry: sports car
Function: noun
Date: 1928
: a low small usually 2-passenger automobile designed for quick response, easy maneuverability, and high-speed driving
... but there's a saying that best describes the definition of sports car:

"Ask 5 different people the definition of sports car and you'll get 5 different answers"
