17" rear wheels possible with Sports brakes?
I want to keep drifting costs down to a minimum, and considering tires are the biggest expense by far, that's where I'm aiming at first.
When I have my 18" winter setup on, I noticed there's still a little bit of clearance left and wonder if it's possible to fit 17" wheels on there. If anyone can clarify, it would be greatly appreciated. |
You can, I have run 17's all the way around on my Nismo with a minor issue of clearance on the front, but I would run 18's for lots of reasons. Good Luck!

I have some 18x12 rotas for drag radials and they didnt clear the rear sport brakes, I had to grind the brakes down a ton. Before ordering any 17s I would try and find someone local to let me test fit that particular wheel model

17"s all the way around with race rubber.

17"s on a nismo/370Z = :superghey: lol
They are enkei's RP03's I believe, I'm not the owner of the rims so I can only guess that the rears are a +18 and can only guess the fronts are either a +30, +35, or +38 I would run 18"s. |
I think those are 5zigen fn01s, actually.
The enkei's have ribs around the bolt pattern for additional structure. |
I refuse to answer out of fear that downsizing is a slippery slope ending with 11". ;)

I am definitely not opposed to 17" wheels. |
