Not bad for limited exposure and 4 days. I am going to dig up some saved emails from people who wanted to get one of these.

Lets do a group buy on Shamu's 100 gal. tank with enough fuel pumps to run a aircraft carrier. Bwahahahh.

Shamu if your reading this just kidding. Maybe. ;)

I'm definitely in,

ENT-Z 08-19-2013 08:52 PM

I'd like to get in depending on the pricing of the FI application. I have an upgraded 340lph pump now so I don't want to demote this pump to just feeding the new pump in the kit. I wish I could re-use my old stock pump to feed the upgraded pump.

nismo13807 08-19-2013 08:54 PM

so after everything.. this unit is $1,150.00 shipped?

We will have to have a little phone conversation to go over the various ways we could set it up for you.

Count me in as well.

So if I understand correctly, $150 deposit in early Sep. Balance ($1000) due later when product is ready to ship, (approx. December), free shipping and if $$ is an issue, you will hold one on the shelf for up to one year for customer who put down the $150?

FL 4Motion 08-20-2013 08:32 PM

follow up ? in the other thread, Phunk, you mentioned that the line in the tank isn't in tank rated but you've found/sourced a line that is now? What will be included with this batch?

wstar 08-20-2013 08:45 PM

The lowdown on the lines is here: http://www.the370z.com/track-autocro...ml#post2446368 . The bottom line is that the alternate line would be a significant cost increase in the kit, and the lines in the kit are a reasonable choice in terms of cost and durability.

I'd pay the extra $200 or whatever it is in that range to get an in tank rated line honestly.

I am going to determine that later. For now, I would assume it will use the AQP hose previously supplied. Once I know how many units to make, I will know how many feet of hose I need. With that number, I can get a quote and find out exactly what it will cost for the SAE rated hose, and see if I can sub it out to that. If I cannot get it for a reasonable cost on it, then I will have to leave it as optional.

ok, sounds good, obviously the original hose seems to be just fine but if it's an option in the $$$ range I listed give or take, I'd def be interesting in "upgrading".

phunk 08-20-2013 09:29 PM

I agree... if it was dollar for dollar the same, then there would be no excuse ever not to use it. I hope that I can get it low enough in volume. Ideally, low enough that I can even keep it on hand just in-case by some chance someone did experience an issue with the AQP in the last batch. Maybe I will nag Mike or Spohn to open up their tanks and have a look-see at their hoses... they are the first installed users. If there is going to be any issues, they would be the first to know.
