I need this ****, Car left me stranded last week. Can you call me or text me, need to try and send a deposit.

tturbo370z 10-07-2013 07:29 PM

Lol I don't want to be stranded either. How do I put deposit down for one of these. Oh and I have your twin fuel pump set up now. Will the new one just drop In it's place without a retune? I'm betting it will need to be re tune but waned to ask. Wasnt sure since I will be on meth if it's more of a touchy thing. I know I need an additional fuel pump since the original road race only has a walbro 255. Let me know what we need to do.

This is a more complex matter since you have the twin pump. The road race pump is meant to work with the stock pump and it mounts to the drivers side of the fuel tank.

How much power are you making to the wheels right now and what is the basic run-down of your mods? Let me ponder for a day or two the best way to integrate the road race pump into your system and we will decide if it should work with the twin pump or ditch the twin pump and just use the road race pump.

If you want to lock it in: 370z Road Race Fuel Pump

You can pay the deposit there. There is one slot left right now.

By the time the production batch is ready to ship I will have your solution worked out for you and your final cost will be different.. it will be plus or minus, depending on what we decide is the ultimate solution for you. We will have to talk about it on the phone to arrange your custom kit. We can sort this out over the next few days. The details will be in the "installation kit". The road race pump itself is the same for everyone, but for higher power cars there are a multitude of ways to install it and hook it up, to match specific needs. So the components provided for installation will change for people that need more power than a single 255 walbro can feed.

I am interested to see what you work out for his set up as ours cars have similar mods and I currently have your Twin pumps as well.

Sent my deposit, but still need to talk with you about the details. I'm using a Walbro 255 pump currently.

PRODUCTION STATUS UPDATE #1 10/11/13

This is the first of the status updates I will post to keep customers informed. You will probably find that there are annoying time delays between progress, but then when progress is made, it is made very quickly. That is just the nature of this business, especially when squeezing side projects in with the "bread and butter" stuff.

Some good news is, today I just signed the papers on a brand new CNC to add to the mix. This CNC will be our first CNC that is 100% dedicated to production output for CJ Motorsports. While that doesnt help this group purchase along (it wont be here until around end of November), it does mean that finally we will be able to majorly expand our product line and have improved inventory quantities. I am also currently seeking out a secondary location for CJM where we will be able to once again perform installs and builds (our current location is a manufacturing only environment, with only one lift shared between many cars owned by those of us there). This second location will happen closely timed with the new CNC arrival. Basically I have been plotting and planning to setup 2014 as the next phase.

Back on topic. Material status: arrived. We have all the material for the road race pumps production here (not including the installation kit parts yet, we will order all that when we are almost done with production of our parts).

We have been cutting the bar stock to lengths for machining while we were finishing up some other new VHR product production. Tonight that VHR part will be finished. Tomorrow or Monday, the road race pump machining finally begins. I will try and post once or twice a week with updates.

Thanks everyone!

Think it's the feed back from us guys from the first batch that is selling the second batch. :D

I got stranded after a gym workout, had to walk my @ss to a gas station hoping one gallon would do it. I was having fun and just made a hard right corner with three dots. She drove fine for a half mile where i parked her, then when I went to start her up, she sputtered and died... repeatedly. So I pushed her on an incline to move the fuel. I almost had it, the she died again after a couple minutes of sputtering. Luckily the gallon was enough

tturbo370z 10-11-2013 11:11 PM

I will try and give u a call later in the week about a possible addition to my current twin pump setup. Hoping we can come up with something feasable otherwise I'm going to have to pass for now. Having a new baby and wife dropped the bomb on decorating the nursery and the money went poof haha no more #becauseracecar now she says #becausebaby :roflpuke2:

SurfDog 10-12-2013 12:18 AM

I've fuel staved at half tank two weeks in a row at High Plains raceway near denver. My 5 gallon jug just wont keep me topped off on open lap days! (My gas can runs out and don't want to spend 200 bucks to top off with 9 dollar track gas!)

Luckily so far I've been able to shake some gas back to the right before fully killing the motor.

Looking forward to the new pump!

ChrisSlicks 10-12-2013 08:58 PM

I bring 5 x 5 gallon jugs, that's usually enough for a busy day. Certain tracks are killer though. Watkins Glen for example you get fuel starve after 4 laps. Looking forward to not having my track time dictated by 4 gallons of fuel.
