Gear ratios MT vs AT

Anyone have experience with comparing raios of both transmissions for track use. Our home track has a lot of turns (22 in 3.56 miles) and a few 1800' straights and not much elevation changes. Looking for the best for this application. Road America is our alternate and that has long straights and most of the track is in the higher 2 cogs typically with several steep inclines.:driving::driving::driving:

Looking for someone that has seat time on a track.

I do have seat time on tracks, but not in your location. You asked for the gear ratios so I provided them to you. I will tell you that if you plan on tracking the car regularly then its 6MT all the way IMO...

Thanks. I thought maybe with the extra ratio the AT might me more productive with a tighter stack. We use a Hewland FTR in our car so we can make ratios custom per track configurations and elevations.

Any idea of how many RPM's the manual and AT fall off on an upshift? Assuming you are at or near redline does an upshift keep it in the peak of the powerband?
