Nismo RC (race car) #001 on track with Doran racing

Qualified 11th in a pack of 35 first time out on a track. I have a bunch of detail pics to post from my hotel tonight. The race will be broadcast tape-delayed but you can follow live scoring and timing on grand-am.com

Juicy details. If you guys have any questions about the car post 'em up and I'll investigate in the morning.

Front upper arms are custom. The rest of the suspension is OE for the RC.

Rear camber is stock. They were happy with it after the lowering.

Published race weight is 2900 lbs. I may have heard power is not more than 340 hp to the wheels. Don't quote me on that one. They know there is still room for improvement, weight in places particularly.

Race tomorrow!

AST 5220's? I know AST is now a major sponsor of the series, but I figured most would be on a penske 3 way or 4 way JRZ/Moton. Not that it makes a huge difference IMO.

The guys have done an awesome job with the car. There will be more updates to the suspension after we get this first race out of the way. Tmrw is a long day and we would love to finish top 10 with all the fenders pointed in the right direction.
Then we would really have something to build.
Stay tunned
