Oh no... I have an Amuse wing just for looking and that actually puts me in Modified class which I don't have anything on the chassis... LOL.

BTW, are you going to run all 9 events with Extreme?

VQStryker 01-12-2012 08:36 PM

Hopefully I can get the car together by march and try to drive down there to SoCal :)

clintfocus 01-12-2012 09:07 PM

are alignment control arms allowed in street class?

corner3garage 01-13-2012 12:35 AM

Want some competition? :)

What about aftermarket spoiler (Nismo rep) in Street Class? I know it says no GT wings but does that only mean actual wings or spoilers as well?

Nismo wing should be fine, The we just don't want any massive adjustable wings that give high downforce in street class.

Unfortunately the amuse wing is pretty high and it has kinda large angle of attack from what i see in pictures. I just wanted to keep it even for the crowd. Sorry!

clintfocus 01-13-2012 06:39 PM

im rockin no aero in street class, gunna be 100% stock sport package body :D

corner3garage 01-13-2012 06:41 PM

^Yeah but you have a crapton of driving experience from redline LOL

Hmm, speaking of fair, I think you should count mods with points. For example, coilover +2 point, exhaust +0.5 point, SC/TT kit +3 point, GT wing 1.5 point, etc. Stock car plus +6/8 point = street class, anything above that will be modify/unlimited class.
Just IMO. Anyways, have fun and be safe. :driving:

takjak2 01-14-2012 02:39 AM

Sounds fun, but I expect this will be all west coast tracks?

martin82 01-15-2012 11:28 AM

Hopefully they would break it down to the beginners/intermediate and advanced times, that'd be nice.

Clint, run into a buddy of your that went to high school with you. He works at Stokes, I think his name was armando?

I will definitely see if we can do a point system for drivers. This does sound like a good idea!

martin82 01-17-2012 07:30 PM

Too many points to add! hahah I think we are forgetting to just have fun with this!! (I won't be anywhere near close to win) lol

I have updated the event list so we have a total of 8 events corrected for this 2012 season!

Drivers that do end up leaving early will still have their chance to obtain their prizes and find out the status/ranks of their points online as this thread will be continuously updated!

I bumped up the group as there was way too much traffic!!!

Mike, if possible I would suggest have Joel or someone announce something at the drivers meeting or something. I had no idea where you guys were but did pick up a bunch of stickers!! lol Thanks!

Mike, thanks for setting this up discounted rate/parts at cost amazing! I will have to order some parts!!

brucelidat 02-25-2012 10:45 PM

I will monitor these events ad try to hit a few. It would be nice if e could get a decent turnout of Z guys. I saw an army of BMWs and s2ks today at Autoclub Speedway.

martin82 02-26-2012 01:47 AM

Im doing autoclub tomorrow

brucelidat 02-26-2012 01:48 AM

It was way packed today, but tomorrow may be better.

martin82 02-26-2012 02:19 AM

yeah that's why a few people canceled and changed to today, heard there were like 120 plus cars....

brucelidat 02-26-2012 02:25 AM

the beginner group had like 35 or so cars, way too crowded so I left after the third session which was screwed because a civic leaked oil all over the front straight. Basically it was a bust track day for me today.

martin82 02-26-2012 08:20 AM

damn that sucks, I am on my way to the track soon

gtkiller 02-26-2012 06:01 PM

I'll be joining in for the button events :)
