Not as good as the R6, runs along the same line as the BFG R1

Yes, I run those Hankooks. I was using the BFG R1s, but their price went way up and these are pretty cheap. I like them a lot.

The Hankooks are pretty good for the money, just wish they had more sizes available.

A lot of people like the hankooks, Depending on which compound you get it should be fitting for your needs! They work well for the price! Either that or I would shave an NT01 nitto down and It will have a similar look to many other DOT slicks out there.

Yes, you can take 2/32's off the NT01, but the tread blocks are so wide that I just run them as is and haven't seen any performance difference at all. I just went to order new NT-01's yesterday and they are back ordered on 315/30R18's, bumming. I'll be running R888's instead (same compound as NT01).

R888s are garbage. You will notice a huge dropoff before the treads even start to wear.

I have to agree with cossie, I've never been impressed with the R888s.

I was stupid enough to keep running it over and over too, it was a waste of money. I miss the RA1s at a reasonable price.

R888's are exactly the same compound as the NT-01's, but the tread pattern is full depth and allows more squirm. If I had more time I would shave them first. NT-01's don't need shaving as the tread is only 2/32's deep, after that it's just a slick with groves.

I have never purchased the NT01s, they seem to get much better reviews from their owners as far as fast usable life is concern. For whatever reason, the R888s just doesn't have that. They are fast out of the box, but they slow down at a dramatic fashion before you even have a chance to wear out the treads. It's quite pathetic. Some have said the NT-01s have the same compound as R888, some have said otherwise. I honestly don't know. I just know the R888s suck, I had 5 sets of them. I didn't like either of them, much better review on NT-01s
