Anyone help with this? Went to the track tonight. Could only manage 2.2 60ft which I expected going to a 300 utqg rating from the factory 140 tires. It was definitely hard to launch and not peel out!

What I don't understand is with a 60ft of 2.2 and a trap of 106, almost 107 why my times were so slow. Comparing my trap and 60ft with others I should have been a lot faster.

Car only has a true dual CBE, rpf1's and HTR Z3's which are a lot lighter than stock and I weighed in at only 3125lbs which is down from 3361lbs with a full tank of gas and stock everything. 2013 sport 6mt.

Again the trap and 60ft are there, just not the 1/4 mile time.

Temp got down go 73, 66 humidity, 30.10 DA, elevation 903ft.

Any thoughts or what I'm missing here?

And your times were what? Trap times are definitely there. 60ft could use a drop but with no spin and a hard launch, you should be high 12's with that trap speed. Main factor is possibly how you were shifting. Any wheels spin from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd?

14.00 best I could do! I tried several ways to not spin off the line. I think the tires are to hard. And they didn't spin a lot all the time but definitely spinning. Shifting at redline, dropping only down to high 5's, 6000rpm. They were fast and smooth. I've been doing this awhile haha. Not every time but I did get some chirps in 1-2 and once or twice 2-3. My 1/8 was around 80mph so comparing that to others I'm picking up more speed than they are on the back half. For example I saw a guy run 82mph but only trapped 103 but ran a 13.5.

If it means anything my track is ****. It no different than running on a bumpy street. However my 99si managed 13.8 all motor, wrx bone stock 13.3 at 101.

I ran a 13.37 with a 2.0 60', and a 13.34 with a 1.9 60'. I do not have the slips anymore but the videos look like 103 trap on the 13.37, and 108 on the 13.34. BTW that was not with the boosted Z.

Just curious, what did you remove to get down to that weight? Spare tire and everything?

good stuff. what setup are you going with?

you might want to wait a little bit, break in the clutch and get some seat time. it took some time to adjust with my new clutch, engagement was totally different from stock. my 2cents.

Oh damn, I never noticed you posted Ray, haha. My bad!

I went with a Southbend Stage 3 Drag clutch and 19lb steel flywheel. The clutch engagement isn't actually bad at all! Can't slip it though, it doesn't like it very much. I'm getting used to the clutch nicely now, though.

After I get my RE-11's on, and they break in, I'll be down to the drag strip for a hopefully cool, not-rainy day.

Ummmmm, 1/4 gas, CBE, spare and trunk stuff, sound deadening back there, rear tow hook, baby seat rear hook, throttle body coolant lines, wheels/tires, lug nuts, engine covers, passenger seat, empty small windsheild washer fluid bottle, trunk foam more towards the cabin, and can't think of anything else.

Since then I've removed the trunk plastic on the tail gate, sides covering the rear shock towers, the plastic on the other side of the back of the seats with the ledges, more sound deadening behind the seats and around fuel pump, 11lbs battery with aluminium holder, plastic around rear window, and I think that's it too. Next is sound deadening under the seats, and test pipes.

The only thing you are missing is this...

-trap speed is a representation of your power/weight ratio.

-ET or time...is a representation of traction

2.2 60 ft means you're spinning tires. I am not surprised to see a slower time with a higher trap speed. Car is making good power, but you need more driver mod and or better tires.

From a 40mph+ roll you would be neck and neck with any of those other Z's on the list trapping around that speed

Minor correction in the all motor. Mine is touring NON-SPORT. Although it does have quaife lsd added

Whomever is updating the list, can you change the screen name "agrotech" to "NBZ34" in the stock & modified all motor categories? Thanks!

Went to the track for the first time ever a few weeks ago, my first run was a 14.2. My second run i got a better launch and did a 13.725. At that point i wasnt allowed to race again, because if you run under 13.9 you need a helmet.
