I would hate how 80% of all 335i drivers around here are teenage girls with the remaining 20% being guys who drive/look like tools or act like they are God in their Beamers. Kind of like this kid who lives behind me with this 335 6MT:

ill take those stats over 99.8% from what ive seen from my 2 days around here

so why do you have a pbox?

cossie1600 04-08-2011 12:58 PM

You know how much power you are going to need to trap 130mph in a 1/4 mile track? My rough estimate is over 500HP for a normal street car, good luck getting there. 60-130 isn't something special, it's just a number some ricers came up with. It really is just a pissing contest, who wants a golden shower?

I use my pbox for analytics between my cars, my driving and other people's driving. I use it to show what I can do to improve my driving or bust some stupid myths.

You are right I am a puss, I spent way too much time gathering data that most people don't know how to use/understand. At the same time I am sure 98% of the owners don't care since they will never attempt a track event or do anything other than fast and furious pulls.

and BTW
you dont need to do it on a publice road. there are many private events, and this in an international thing, not just the USA. open your mind up to something other than your preconceived lack of performance interests.

jesus, you guys are like little girls. im sure some of the more powerful cars are interested in gathering this data. YOU may not CARE, but enthusiasts do

t

In a 2600 lb car with no traction, I needed about 450 to the wheels:rofl2:

60-130 is great for comparing turbo cars with a tune. They still have no traction down low, and so they can't actually put down good quarter times, and the drivers don't track them.

Please pee on me, I love it

it takes about 600rwhp to trap over 130mph. again, you have many avenues to attempt the feat though.. Im sure if you ask howm many of you guys have done over 130 iin your car, 75% would say they have.. I ask you this.. WHERE DID YOU GUYS DO IT?

and ricers thought of it? i doubt it brother. seems like all the high HP cars and enthusiasts thought of it.. because it measure the cars potential, not the drivers potential.. so yea, you have one for what? measuring the differences? gee, thats so far beyond what a 60-130 can tell.. oh wait a sec..

Inline pro running 552 rwhp. I believe that trap reads over 140:rolleyes:

as shown in my logs, i did it legally at the track. its one thing to drive fast, its another to be racing on the street.

guys who cant drive want to compare their cars, not their skills. that sounds like a ricer to me bro.

lets get back to the pissing contest, little bit to the right please

LostMarine 04-08-2011 01:37 PM

yes, that would be about right for a car of that weight. not many vehicles get don to that weight, so for 130+ on average cars, its about 600.

I wonder what your 60-130 would have been? would be nice to have had a vbox in there huh :)

oh wait, you mean that was a legal way of getting your 60-130 time!? THATS NOT POSSIBLE!

yup, your sounding more and more intelligent everytime you post :) i mean, its only become the most regarded measure of a cars performance. i mean, since we all arent andretti like yourself obviously..

gee, people want to know how their car performs. im so crazy for coming in here and asking about performance in a performance section.. what was i thinking :(

GZ3 04-08-2011 01:41 PM

funny because spec miatas hold very respectable times despite not being able to go over 110mph. oh wait, you wouldnt know because vin diesel didnt tell you.

i compare myself mostly to mansell because of my weight btw, the andrettis are too skinny.

correct me if i am wrong, i believe the 135 and 335 are rated in a lower class than the 370 in solo 2, i believe the handicapped is higher at nasa tt also. of course you wouldnt know because you are too busy searching for 60 to 130 numbers
