R1 is more of a "full face" R-comp.....treadwear of 40. It isn't really a fair comparison. The R1 (BFG) and R6 (hoosier) are a better comparison.....which the hoosiers win hands

The R1 (BFG) and R6 (hoosier) are a better comparison.....which the hoosiers win hands down IMO. The NT01 is a fine choice though. Same compound as the RA1 (toyo).
