Here is a pic of the hydramat that directly attaches to standard in-tank pumps. I just don’t have the P/N handy at the moment. Unless they have increased their line-up since I last looked at them, this is your best bet. But again, it will require a significant slice to be taken out of the bucket for the extended pick-up to reach out towards whichever direction you felt was best to send it.

This is such an annoying issue I am running a swirl pot external which cures my issues with starvation but I don't want fuel in the cabin any more
I was going to go with the cjm rrp and get everything back in the tank the problem is by the time I've imported it to UK and shops here want as much as the pump cost to fit it and run it up on the dyno to check fueling as im supercharged and currently using a 340 this issue would stand me at over 2k I don't know which way to go :( The z1 kit may well suit what I use the car for if I was to fit a switch to turn it off when just cruising as I only use the car as a weekend fun car/European road trip once a year and not a daily driver. I dropped a small low presure low flow pump in the other side feeding the stock bucket with it's own power supply and a switch by my heated seat buttons

I've been using CJM RRP for couple of years now.. I've been able to run with 1/4 tank @ NASA TT and suck the tank near dry with no problem. Best solution to put on the car to date.

I did an upgrade fuel pump and opened up the venturi, has helped a lot. Ran down to about half tank at solo nats and that was on east course, no starvation there is a good sign. I think the stock pump is just so anemic it doesnt pull a strong enough siphon.

Another thing you could do, that would make a huge difference... Add a pressure side venturi. Like the one I make for our 370z twin pump hanger. At stock fuel pressure it will be about a 24LPH fuel pressure leak, which you can easily spare, especially if you have upgraded the pump. For that, it transfers about 100lph at stock fuel pressure. Then take some Nylon or PTFE hose to zip tie to the stock siphon line, and connect it. Leave the stock venturi setup running how you have it, then add my pressure venturi for an additional 100lph of full time transfer that is working even at maximum fuel consumption. It would act similar to putting the extra transfer pump on the driver side like some do. Its only 100lph compared to the electric pump, but I suppose you could do 2 of them for 200lph if you wanted. Then you dont have to worry about another fuel pump over there starving or wiring it or relays/switches etc. |

Got my twin pump assembly in with dual 525’s,
Holley Hydramats were clocked as shown-so they fit flat on bottom of tank & underneath any baffling and crossover line :ugh2: On a test run at battery voltage, each pump flowed just over 4.5qts. on an individual 30sec test & together flowed just over 9qts in 30sec. :eek: Unsure how much fuel was pulling across from the Venturi, as I didn’t have a separate reservoir setup with tube installed. XRP’s big bore HS-79 hoses are very light & flexible in the -8 size :tup: |
