19" Volk TE37 in Gloss Black - In Stock!

This just in!

Volk TE37
Front: 19x9.5 +22
Rear: 19x10.5 +22
Gloss Black

(19x10.5 +22 rear pictured)

Will fit 370Z! Technically a 350Z/G35 coupe fitment, after several test fitments we have been able to confirm that this will work on the 370Z Base and Sport package. The rear may need a 10mm spacer for that extra flush look (sold separately).

PM for price! :)

Are the stickers permanent, or are they removeable... and what is that process like. These are awesome!

Ryan@IP 07-30-2009 04:32 PM

There has been lots of sticker talk recently! :)

The stickers are not permanent, but if you ask anyone who has tried to remove them, they will likely say that they might as well be permanent! It is something you would need to be extremely delicate with, and we nor Rays can take responsibility if something happens to the finish of the wheels in the process. Unfortunately, there is no way to special order the wheels without stickers, and ordering extra stickers for the future is typically not possible. Almost all TE37s use the blue stickers, as shown, but some limited editions (like the Time Attacks, LE37s, Seibon editions, etc) did use slightly different variations.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

XwChriswX 07-30-2009 04:59 PM

That's too bad, cause they just turn me off on these. It it the situation where you need windex and a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive? Or do you need a glue dissolver? lol

Hell just paint over them lol.

I understand your dilemma :(

There is definitely a way to remove them, but I'm afraid that any method you end up using may result in some negative effect on the finish. The only situations I've seen where the stickers come off are when they are about to be repainted or they have slowly peeled off after many, many years of use and abuse.

Personally, I think I would only try using a super hot heat gun (like what you would use to roll fenders), a bunch of De-solv-it, and some sort of exacto-knife to possibly delicately pull up a corner of the sticker and hope it's hot enough to peel away as a whole. Obviously, this is highly discouraged, but it's an option if you're brave!

XwChriswX 07-30-2009 05:24 PM

Thats really too bad cause those wheels are money for a MB Z.

LiquidZ 07-30-2009 07:17 PM

Care to PM the price for these shipped to 43201?

I'm not gonna lie... it was a pain in the ***, but only an hours work and completely worth it.

Another forum member's opinion I wanted to share..

speedfreak28 08-01-2009 01:52 AM

 I love the flat black TE37s too :)

XwChriswX 08-17-2009 10:15 AM

I dunno though... looking at them with BLUE stickers, I could accept that they are pretty adult-removal-proofed. As long as I had some assurance that they are Gloss Black with BLUE. If they were gonna be any other color, I wouldn't be able to do them. Gloss Black is still sick though.

SAllen0400 08-17-2009 10:30 AM

Just wanted to clarify, that my TE37's are FLAT black and not GLOSS black. Can't speak for the effect on the gloss black finish, but my "slowly scratching them off" method didn't effect my finish at all. But again, mine are flat black.

I'm not quite sure if this is being directed at us, but I can assure you that the wheels pictured in this thread are the actual ones for sale. I personally took the pictures and can confirm that both gloss black and flat black TE37s use the blue stickers ;)

I am not sure if peeling them off the gloss black finish would be any different from the flat black. I have only seen stickers removed when they were being repainted :/

I like the flat black better....

Dumb question: What is the difference between matte black and flat black?

I think the official Rays color designation (according to their literature) is "matte black" but matte and flat are used interchangeably by most people, including Rays sometimes. There are not two different variations of the "flat" look. Not a dumb question :)

Caravanshaka 08-19-2009 12:02 PM

fyi, you'll want a drop with these wheels...at stock ride height those fronts are going to be sticking out past the fender about 10-12mm

pm price please? :)

Ryan@IP 08-20-2009 08:36 AM

We do highly recommend at least a mild drop in order to achieve enough negative camber up front to make this set look flush. The front wheel is considered "aggressive fitment" although it doesn't take too much effort for them to look absolutely perfect, as we have seen with several other forum members.

PM sent!

Ryan@IP 09-01-2009 08:59 AM

Still available!

Well if you say it's possible, and no residual damage, I think for something as goregous as these, I'd be patient to make sure to do it right. And you said the Goo Gone cleaned up any residue? Or did you have to use something like a wheel cleaner?

No not at all, I'm just saying like you said earlier about special wheels getting different stickers. I didn't know if they made sets with different sticker colors. Like having a check on the outside of the box saying what color stickers they have...

I'm just a bit bitter when it comes to ordering wheels since I ordered a set for my tC. But what I ordered wasn't what I recieved.

Ordered: Tenzo Passion 5's Gloss Black 18x7.5 w. Nitto Neo Gen's
Recieved: R-1 Racing GTR-4's Gloss Black 19x8 w. Kumho Ecsta SPT's

Needless to say I was thoroughly pissed. And I never heard a word from the company after my account was charged. Didn't help that I was oversea's and couldn't do anything about it.

But no I wasn't trying to say anything towards your company. I'm really really looking at getting a set of these. I just can't decide if i wanna go with a Chrome lip or not. I really love that look of Black on Black with the lip. I dunno about all black.

SAllen0400 12-02-2009 12:36 PM

Yes, i just used Goo Gone to clean it up after I was done scratching them off with my fingernails (didn't wanna use a tool for fear of scratching). Took a while, but be patient... it's worth it. No residual damage on mine.

Blue is the only color sticker to come on these Volk's. The time attack version offered red stickers, but they are now discontinued... (my TE37's had to be custom painted to get the time attack look) . You can purchase the red stickers separately for about $120 for the set (2 stickers per wheel).

As for the chrome lip, those would be the LE 37's (great looking wheel), but they are also discontinued, so would be nearly impossible to find in the correct offsets for our Z's.

Been able to find any setups like this... that's gonna be the final sell for me. Otherwise I'm looking at something with a chrome lip. Do you have anything like that laying around?

Volk has recently done another batch of black/polished lip wheels, but they've become quite expensive. What about something like this?
