These use the stock-style lugs don't they? Didn't think to ask when I ordered.

USAFZDRIVER 06-22-2012 07:00 PM

$998 shipped for 4 wheels really?!

Yep. Mine are on their way.

And they ship very rapidly. I ordered mine yesterday and they should be here on Monday.

USAFZDRIVER 06-22-2012 07:14 PM

Whoa that's insane! what a steal, I may have to jump on this. I really like Z1 too.

Mike 06-22-2012 09:07 PM

they do use stock lugs

mattleegee 06-22-2012 09:09 PM

caps?

Thanks Mike. Now that they've already shipped to me :icon14:, PM me what you'd charge to powder coat all 4.

Thanks.

Mike 06-22-2012 09:32 PM

darn, you should have asked before shipping! They could have sent them to me instead.

Anyway, brand new wheels need less prep, so 300 for the set, plus shipping.

Zrider79 06-22-2012 10:51 PM

Nice wheels..the rears sizes would look cool in the front. All 4 with 10.0 width and aggressive tires would look sick.

MyKindaGuise 06-22-2012 11:28 PM

Those look like they sit quite flush from that picture. That pic is with no spacers right?

harry370z 06-23-2012 07:56 AM

Silly question,

I've currently got the 19" Rays OEM wheels.

Can I take the tires of those and put them on these?

Yes, you can use your old tires. Also you will need to use the stock Nissan center caps.

That you are eh! btw, dont think the rears on the s-tune will fit the front on the 370z. might not clear the calipers due to the style.

USAFZDRIVER 06-24-2012 02:27 PM

Another silly question,
Can the TPMS sensors from the vase 18's be used on these wheels?

yes, no problem there

TreeSemdyZee 06-24-2012 05:40 PM

Need opinions

I've got a BS 370 and I'm thinking of getting these wheels powder coated gunmetal.

Do you guys think it would look silly to leave the center caps uncoated? I'm thinking it might look silly, but I can't picture it. My Photoshop skills are extremely weak also, so I thought I'd get opinions.

should look good. Chris has a BS with the 40th wheels and it looks good.

Get them powdercoated before z1 ships them!

What I'm wondering about is whether I shoul PC the centercaps?
Too late on the "do before shipping". They'll be here tomorrow. Z1 is more efficient than my thought process.:icon14:

daisuke149 06-24-2012 07:10 PM

damn. cus Mike coulda powdercoated em.

as to the centercaps. I left mine. Not sure exactly what the ones u have look like, but when you powdercoat them, they might loose their message. Its like blacking out the nissan emblems. you dont really see the nissan anymore unless your right up on it.

Mike 06-24-2012 07:15 PM

they can't be powdercoated, they will melt.

TreeSemdyZee 06-24-2012 11:23 PM

Forgot about the heat involved when I asked.

I have them and they clear the sport package calipers just fine.

I'm running them with Nismo springs/shocks and spacers -- 15 F 20 R.

specifically the rear wheel (19x10) fitting on the front axle?

John@Z1 06-25-2012 11:30 AM

Get them while you can.

TreeSemdyZee 06-26-2012 10:12 AM

Got mine yesterday and yes, you can get all four of these inside a 370 without boxes of course.
Lots of towels and blankets. Off to the powdercoater today.

<still kicking self for not having Mike do them.

Will do. I'm leaving the lips as-is and getting the rest done in gunmetal. Got a recommendation from Bob Taylor (of hot rod painting fame) for a powder coat guy. Hope he's half as good as Mike.

Mike 06-26-2012 08:19 PM

sounds like a great color combo!

1slowa$$G35 06-27-2012 12:59 AM

I wish these were more aggressive for my 06 G35 :(

We have seen quite a few G35's with 370Z wheels here lately. There are a few local ATL area G35's running OEM NISMO 370Z wheels which looks incredible.

Only a 1 set left. Please remember, these wheels have been officially discontinued by Nissan North America! Once they are gone, they are gone. :tiphat:

TreeSemdyZee 07-28-2012 03:32 PM

Well, I FINALLY got the powder coating done. Don't ask. Ended up going straight gunmetal.
Parking lot at the Grand-Am race in Indy. Thus the rusty rotors from the rain.

Thanks to Mike for the stickers. Definitely wish I'd had him do the powder coating. Cost me more locally.
