so do you think my CE28s w/ 19x9.5+22 and 19x10.5+23 will work on the Z w/ sport brakes?

It will work, but I would recommend a spacer in the rear to give it a flush fitment. We usually recommend a +12 in the rear.

man too bad there isnt a way for me to trade out just the rear... I really dont like spacers... Could you tell me what it would run to get some CE28s in 19x10.5 +12 just for the rear? Ill try selling my rears independently...

So you are saying it is 10mm too much on the inside for the rear right?

he is saying the wheels will be sunk in the wheel well about 10mm...it won't be horribly noticeable, but about 1 out of 50 ppl will notice it.

I'll send you a PM right now with a quote. Spacers are not ideal, but we have used them countless times with no ill effects.

The way it sits with the +22 is 10mm further inside the wheel well than the +12. It looks a little on the weak side.

10mm is a big enough difference to notice. If this were not true we would just recommend 350z sizing to everyone. There is a noticeable difference looking at a +22 next to a +12. You also have to realize the face of the wheel appears different as well. +12 is the hotness :icon17:

i'm running +22 in the rears with 295 tires...probably need to get some 10mm spacers. the 15mms i have are a bit...excessive.

Well, I was running 19x10 +20 with my original set of wheels and never got a comment about the wheels being "sunk-in"...I knew it was there, but I even got asked by a vendor if the pic I sent of the setup had 10mm spacers with that offset.

Now I've got 19x11 +24 and am much happier with the fitment myself, but even to me, it wasn't a big enough difference that I'd look at the car and say "that looks terrible".

Keep in mind, stock wheels are 19x10 +30, and only about 5% of the population would ever pay attention to the fact that they are sunk in and not flush.

True, and I see your point. I in no way think a +22 would look terrible.

However, you also have to see if from my view point. I spend all day looking at cars and wheels to where I nit pick stuff :roflpuke2:

On a serious note, I think a large part of why most people would not notice is because of how sunk in the OEM wheels are. With that in mind I believe the majority of car enthusiasts would be able to notice, although it is highly unlikely anyone would ever say anything. +22 will still be significantly better than an OEM size, but +12 is...well perfect :)
