HKS Hipermax III Coilovers

ATTENTION: The first person to get these and post a review gets $75 off their order!!!

I love these coilovers. I am very partial to 3 brands: Stance, KW, and HKS for coilovers. These are valved so damn well and ride like a dream on the street and track. We have set up many people with these for the G35 and they love love love them!!! If anyone has questions, ill be happy to help out.

Key Features:

Lowering 1-3.5" - You will be able to take your car down to the ground

• Strengthened rubber upper mounts – enhanced durability
• Monotube design
• Shock-body length adjustable (most applications)
• 65mm diameter springs – Cold wound and manufactured in-house at HKS to ensure quality and consistency
• Stainless lock nut & ride height adjuster – feature anti-rust & corrosion characteristics for enhanced durability.

• Non-electrolysis Nickel plated shock bodies provide durability in severe weather conditions.

HKS' all-new Hiper Linear Piston Fluid Channel System damping system creates a positive relationship between piston speed and damping force, making it possible to produce a suspension that provides track-level control and feedback with exceptional ride quality at the same time.

I wouldnt really say that, you received a PM with a price when you requested it. I dont know why you are spreading false information.

My name is Nick, and I recently took over this board. The guy who was doing it previously, Kurt, was let go. I have answered all your pm's as well as questions as promptly as possible.

For the most immediate response, email or call me. Both my number and email are located in my sig.

Hi Nick, nice to meet you! You're doing better than Kurt :).

I was not referring to my question for pricing, that indeed had been answered. I was referring to a technical question posted by darklocust on the thread I linked to above. I just made a post on that thread to make clear the question that needed answering.

Thanks for stopping by, much better presence already!

THMotorsports 06-15-2009 06:35 PM

shabarivas 07-14-2009 01:19 PM

Hey Nick - So I am cross shopping between these and the V3s - Which should I get and why? What are the advantages of each etc? Any input you might have on this would help a LOT! :)

CCCLXXZ 07-14-2009 04:00 PM

KW is Twin Tube dual adjustable, whereas the HKS is monotube. HKS you are partly paying for the name, IMO. KW's are fully stainless steel whereas HKS are mild steel coated. KW has a 7 post dyno from BAR Honda which they R&D their products on. There are only like 3 of these in existence IN THE WORLD.

Overall the KWs have better R&D, better warranty, better adjustability, and a better design.

shabarivas 07-15-2009 07:01 PM

Lol wow man - thanks for the honest answer - guess KWs it is :) Gimme a couple weeks to gather some green :)

THMotorsports 07-16-2009 10:23 AM

Eh, why should I sugarcoat it...right? lol

THMotorsports 07-17-2009 11:11 AM
