Yup! You can now follow us via Facebook, Twitter, Myspace etc. What's the benefit of this Social Networking? It's very useful during The370Z downtime (routine maintenance). You can actually get an instant update on what's going on (maintenance wise), when the site will be back up, if there's going to be a delay etc. Also, you'll be able to contact me if the site is giving you issues (post up time) or you can't access it. :tup:

I try to upload any cool 370Z video I find from various Japanese blogs, sites etc. It's probably not a bad idea to subscribe so that you don't miss out on cool videos (like this ;))

You should def try to follow our forum on facebook. It's one of the most popular social networking site on the internet. I will be posting "THE370Z Member Picture of the Day" which will be randomly picked from our "all albums" area. I will also post "DIY Article of the Day" and random links/pics/update here and there. Don't forget to hit the "Like" button ;) or make a comment. Also, those of you concerned about your privacy, please don't worry. Facebook implemented special settings for Fan pages meaning I can't see anything but your basic info. No picture, no wallpost etc (regardless of your FB account settings). So feel free to become a fan :tup:

Twitter account will be used mostly for important 370Z posts/threads from the forum. I will probably share most 370Z review articles (forum thread link) on Twitter. I know many people are not familiar with Twitter (which I'm learning too), but it's a pretty neat way to keep in touch with a forum/company etc. Awesome thing about Tweeter is that it's very easy to communicate with people. If you ask me a question on Twitter, I can reply to you with a single click! :tup:

First of all this page needs a complete makeover! I'll try to fix it soon. I have created this Myspace page during the early days of The370Z. In fact, I remember staying up late at night and spending countless hours trying to upload various 370Z pictures from different sites (just to get a couple more members to join the site :(). Getting new pictures, were not as easy as now. I had to spend probably hours just to get a single picture from a weird Japanese site. If you go to the picture section, you'll see all the pictures (from spy shot to LA debut pictures) of the Z from 7.10.08 to 11.20.08 LA Auto Show Debut. I have also made a 370Z Timeline picture slideshow back then :icon17: . check it out. On the front page, you'll also find the World's FIRST non computer generated/edited real life 370Z pictures which were exclusively debuted from The370Z. You may also find some cool older 370Z videos on our myspace page too (for example the LA Auto Show Debut video) Sorry, if I'm boring you guys with history of 370Z :o.

Yup, when you visit our myspace page, you'll see that I have seen EVERY SINGLE 370Z picture, video, article since the very early days of 370Z. I have spent countless hours researching and finding stuff for the forum. I'm very happy the my hours and hours of research didn't go in vain. We now have a great community here and one of the best on the internet. :tup: Thank you for your support.

It's not a bad place. Facebook is nice way to keep in touch with people. Though sometimes, the FB software can be a little nosey (i.e. suggest you to become friends with people you really don't want to be friends with haha) but other than that, it's pretty cool. :tup:

I'm new to the FB thing, and I'm trying to add the "the370z.com" page as a friend, but there is no 'add friend' button. Or am I just not seeing it. I hate FB and really am only doing it at the constant nagging of friends/family lol so a little help would be appreciated. :tup:

You do not add it as a friend, look for the "Like" button.

This is a prime example of a facebook fail. :p

It can't be a fail if you dont know, Fail is knowing and still doing something stupid.

The difference between a regular facebook page and fan page is that

a. I don't see any of your status updates.

b. I have a VERY limited access to accounts (I can ONLY see the name and little info your page. NO pics or anything. This is very good for those who likes to keep their privacy yet want to be fan of our forum FB).

c. I can't send messages or add friends etc.

Once you hit the "LIKE" button, you'll be able to see any update I post (i.e. Daily picture and DIY of the day).

Let me know if you are still having problems.

YouTube page got deleted due to copyright infringement :confused:

I know! :mad: those bastards deleted my Youtube channel with half a million views and tons of subscribers because I had 2-3 Best Motoring "preview" videos. NOT even full videos, just monthly preview. Also, youtube doesn't have any customer service. If your channel is deleted, you can't call or talk to any one! THE370Z channel had close to 72 videos where my other youtube channel had 150+ videos. Since both of them were connected with same gmail account, they deleted both! :(.

Please don't worry, I have a new channel. I am going to bring all the videos back with more organized categories. Stay tuned ....:tup:

AK! I think you need an extra kicker on the signup page! Nothing on the vbulletin modules that will help? Even the static questions a human needs to answer to get the form activated (non-CAPTCHA)

Like: The 370Z's first year was? or Who's the most awesomest moderator for a forum ever? or Are you planning on spamming the site religiously about porn and useless opportunities involving hankering, vocabulary and flexibility?

Hey josh, thanks for your suggestion. I used to think that was a good idea until I found myself unable to join this Russian forum because I didn't know what the question forum was asking. It was in Russian (ironic how I'm signing up to a Russian forum and all my spammer from Russia :ugh:). But yes, it was an automotive site and I wanted to see the pictures by becoming a member but I couldn't become a member because I didn't knew the question in the registration page. Hence I was always reluctant to use a the "question/answer" verification. I always feel that some members from lets say china or saudi arabia or some international country will be unable to sign up and utilize this vast database of our forum because they are not fluent in English. However, I have turned it on now with a VERY easy question. I'll try to work on another "permanent" solution in the meantime.

Something I didn't consider.. good point.. didn't look at the proposed question, but perhaps math related or something universal will stop the madness, and let you get back to more important stuff.. LOL
