I'm tentatively going, barring work stuff for those days coming up between now and then. Guess I've got a few months to find a sexy co-pilot :) I haven't been down to Corpus in forever, but I spent a few years in the area when I was a kid (well, in a smaller town a bit inland). Got a few relatives in the area I could drop by the next day anyways.

Is this only for Houstonians? I know a couple of us from the Rgv maybe interested in meeting with you all in Corpus.

I signed up on your facebook page as a "maybe" This sounds fun, and its a nice drive down there. The course is probably set but driving coastal Hwy 35 is awesome from Matagorda all the way to Corpus!

I think me and my buddy will be hitting this up. Too early to tell but it's looking good.

I used to fly T-34s out of NAS Corpus. I loved that job and loved the wind and beach there too. Have fun cruzin'!!!!! Wish I could join you.

whats the plan for coming back? Are yall getting a hotel and staying until sunday or leaving after a full stomach saturday?

I am leaving that option open to the drivers. I don't want someone to feel; 1) Obligated to stay 2) Drive outside their means. Everyone should make that judgement on how they feel.

Personally, I'll most likely stay the night and leave in the morning. That is what I'm currently planning. :tup:
