Grandsport Speedway - Houston, Texas

Hmmm I've been meaning to get out to Grandsport Speedway sometime and check it out, maybe I'll try to make May 5. Have to check up on some scheduling stuff first.

How's the program there? I had heard some reports from others that it was a little different than advertised, re: rungroups and instructors and so-on.

They just changed the website and the $100 is not applicable anymore but I'm still going for the normal $175. The program is laid back in that each of the 4-groups goes for a 20-min session on a constantly rotating basis. In the Novice and Bronze group you can have an instructor ride with you, or just participate in the classroom time and track exercises. Passing begins at the Silver level.

Was this not the week for Dave and Busters? Sorry didn't make it out yesterday, had tickets to the Rockets game.

Yesterday was 300 bowling, next week can be D&B and then after that we will have movie night.

You are always welcomed, not sure about the other stuff, this week will be D&B of course. Need to plan a few things out later today but should have everything posted by this evening.

So far life has gotten in the way of me attending any of these Thursday meets since they started. This week will be no exception :/ Maybe the next one :)

I cannot find a current overview picture of the new parking area since they remodeled. Do not park super far away from the building, I know we like to keep our cars away from danger but the farther away the more likely people will bother the cars.

Yea the new parking lot is nice..Its well lit and that's where security stays for a long period of time. I dont think u would have problems back there with the lights being so bright..When i say well lit, I mean damn near day light lit

any chance that on the 17th we could be somewhere on washington? gonna hit up that event at manor that thursday night and it would be cool if we were close. lorenzo's is nice, tasty burger or prime rib! link to event...

Ok well I am a bit pissed, just got word they are altering the start time of a dinner I was suppose to attend this Thursday for school. I will be unable to attend this Thursday meet as it stands right now unfortunately.

I will say though, I am not letting anything get in my way for next Thursday meet when we go see The Avengers at Studio Movie Grill. :tup:
