Saw a GM on 35 south around noon somewhere outside Dallas. I was in a silver w/ cf hood going the other way.

Nice Monterey Blue non-sport package yesterday evening about 6pm heading South on Mopac- AR plates (looked like a cute girl driving)

Well it is pretty wet today, cut the guy a little slack. Maybe his tires suck in the rain, combined with a little inexperience and a deep puddle on the highway at speed :)

Everyone that was just talking about the guy that spun on I-10.

There is something really screwed about I-10 when it comes to rain. That's how I had my bad accident. I hit a puddle in the middle of a damn highway. What genius designs highways to allow that? Rain is supposed to run off the side. This is also the reason I'm not supercharged right now.

And everyone who was just at Nismo Fiesta knows I can drive so it's definitely not a matter of ability to drive RWD.

Also, I saw a PW Touring at Chick Fil A near 1960/290 and I saw Joy in the same area too!

Well Murphman lives out in Katy so maybe its just the outskirts, then again I have BF Goodrich G-Force tires so maybe thats why I havent had any hydro problems.

this just made channel 13 news.. 370z and another car hit & spun out (with injuries reported)

Saw him about half a mile east of 610 on the west side. he got hella lucky I tell you. Fromt he looks he either changed lane (them damn blind spot) and the black benz next to him clipped him and they spun or vise versa as PG is really hard to see in all that sprey from the tires kicking up.

Did not notice any damage though, nothing on the road but i couldnt see his rear driver side of the car.

whats bad is that the east bound lanes you see all the red tail lights cause they are backed way up cause there was an accident about 1-2 miles down the road. So both sides were jacked up

I was stuck in the Westbound traffic during the major 18 wheeler accident on I10 around I10 & Patterson, eastbound was shut down completely & westbound had 2.5 lanes closed.

Well to be honest, after seeing some of the stupid sh1t that was an excuse for driving this past weekend at Nismo Fiesta, I can't imagine for the life of me how anyone could possibly come to that conclusion. :ughdance:

No one that I know of who is on the Board, but there where some real dumb-arses on display, especially on the way back to the hotel Saturday. It's those kinds of stunts that reflect badly on all of us.

PW Z...Oak Lawn Ave around 5PM.

Did not see any 370z today, but almost destroyed a BMW who turned into my lane from the turning lane with no signal could have removed his right front end, but decided to let him go with a couple of inches to wake the **** up I was at 50 he's at 10 mph. I am at his bumper in the traffic lane and he pulls out like a 4500 lbs burnt orange headlights and fog lights running SUV is not there. I am not going to swerve or slam on the brakes if needed ill just go through them.

Makes me laugh the other day another nut in a PT cruiser decided to t-bone me because he thought he had the right of way on the circle turn at wescott. Crushed his car so bad he could not even open the door. Did not leave a scratch on my Exploder. Wiped off the paint tranfer with a little polish and it was good as new.

Crazy drivers out there why I drive the SUV in the rain. Thinking of adding a pusher bar and a roll cage.

I'll give you one example though - I was going back to the hotel on TX 16 running about 70 mph in a light drizzle and was passed on the shoulder by a certain G35 (who by the way, I could name at least three stunts over the course of the weekend that would win him a nomination to the d-bag hall of fame) going at least 20mph faster than me; at least!

That's just moronic.

What would be a great event is to get a group to attend a driving school somewhere. I've taken both the beginner and advanced classes at Bondurant, and it was great. More than anything, you learn what not to do, and the extent of how really stupid some of the things others do as witnessed this weekend. It can be a real eye opener.
