How much $ do you have invested in your nitrous kit + install?... I'm seriously considering having the same shop that did yours do the same to my car. Or at least going down there to talk to them about different options. I would have the bottle mounted out of site in the trunk and most likely get every option I could possibly get to keep myself from worrying about something breaking.

I believe the kit is still going for $450. I've talked to them about safety precautions and such and they have a lot.

They're great guys. Tell him Ram sent you. That's if you talk to federico. I don't think his brother knows me.

My install was in the $800-$1000 bracket (including install).... The $450 kit is only for single inject applications, the 370z needs two nozzles, so that's a bit more... I got a dual purge kit, and the setup itself on my vehicle was expensive... If your planning to do something more simple then you should see a drop in price.

Hey, those vinyl wraps you were talking about, where would you order them from?

Another thing, I increased my trap speed from 99 no nos, and that run I shot the nitrous 1/8 mile down and got 109.... But didn't increase the time all that much cause of the wheel spin...

Well the system is out, so that's not a prob... I feel the power of the car is not getting to the road as much, at least last night... The track was pretty slippery, we had a couple accidents, and a lot of spin outs... I myself was not getting any traction. Maybe another time at the track might get realistic times with the nitrous... Uprev is giving me a sponsorship with a free tune/nitrous tune, and half price on the labor for the dyno, and I am waiting to hear back from Stillen about their sponsorship, hopefully they can throw in G3's headers, HFC's or test pipes.. Etc.... We will see what they say...

Yea man the last time I was at the track the left lane was pretty slippery... I had to let off the throttle cause the tires were spinning to much and my car was drifting to the side. I didn't run after that. I've been wanting to head back but I wanted to get stickier rubber. Oh and good luck with the sponsorships! Once you get your car tuned it feels like a whole other monster!!! :driving:

I've really been wanting to see you run at the track bud! Let us know when your planning on going. With the setup you got going on your Z it should be doing some sweet times!

Not bad... I will most likely go with the absolute best setup they can offer me. Remote bottle opener, bottle warmer, etc. etc. etc...

I would have been there already if I didn't put the wrong gas in my car. Reason I didn't go before is my tires were junk... stock Potenzas. Now I have RE11's on all 4 corners and my car hooks like crazy on the street. Soon... Very soon. Hopefully this coming Wednesday or Friday.

Will do. I'll probably head down early this week and talk to them. It's either this or drop $7,350 on a Boosted Performance single turbo kit, but then I have to wait until December to get it.

I think I can get in to the 11's with a tuned nitrous setup... That's plenty fast for me and can get there at a fraction of the cost.

You got the right idea! Low-mid 12's is plenty fast for me lol... I'd be with the vettes:tup: I'm planning in going next week as well, one of my GTI buddies is getting his car tuned with his new down pipes, he should be getter a "new monster" as well!

You guys should check out the app: Dynolicious! Surprisingly accurate! And voted best horsepower/0-60/1/4times/etc. tester on the iPhone... Believe it or not when compared to an actual dyno test it was only off by 10-15 horsepower...

Dunno if you saw it, but check out intrigue98s build with a single turbo. He had quite a few problems with his build.

atx370z 10-14-2012 09:48 PM

I've been following this thread for months... This kit is absolutely flawless, cheaper than TT and can install yourself: http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...rbo-build.html

I have absolutely no doubts regarding integrity. intrigue98s had a completely different thing going on.
