Well guys, I upgraded the nitrous jets from a 50shot to 75shot... Got a full tank of nitrous ready for Friday:tup: and a better looking gauge! Liquid filled this time:D

And the quick disconnects I installed to easily pop out the subwoofer box:tup: http://www.the370z.com/members/lega-...-truck-bed.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/lega-...isconnects.jpg |

Hey guys is this correct?
370z: Horsepower---332 Weight (lbs)----------3,232 Power to weight---- 9.73lbs/hp Reduce 100 pounds: Weight= 3,132(lbs)/332(hp)= 9.43lbs/hp In turn: 3,232/9.43 = 342hp (plus 10hp) Sooooo if spare tire/jack and other stuff you got in the back weighs about 50lbs(according to most) and the passenger seat weighs maybe around 40lbs... You can get almost 10HP just by poppin them out:D Lets go a step further: Reduce 500lbs= 393HP but I think that is stripping the car completely haha. Plus I am using curb weight not gross weight... Which include passengers/cargo/fluids.... |

Cutting weight won't give you more HP... Just changes power to weight ratio which will definitely help. I heard for every 100lbs in weight reduction you can shave 1/10th off your quarter mile.
That's why those little honda hatchbacks with 200whp run 12's in the quarter mile... They weigh nothing. |
