No problem. Many off brand lenses are just as good optically, and cheaper. Most pros only prefer to use Nikon or Canon brand lenses because they are generally built tougher and can withstand getting thrown around all day.

Hey all a little off topic but I'm not from the area but I've been trying to get a job in law enforcement and I recently applied to the Plano PD since they are one of very few departments in the country to require a bachelors degree to apply. Anyone have any contacts with Plano PD or have any idea if they are actually liking to hire more officers. This would be beneficial to you all if a Z owner was a local officer ya know. I'll get a light rack for my Z!

To your question, I live in Plano and I've read news stories regarding Plano ISD laying off teachers. This was prior to the start of school this year. However, since both occupations are public positions, they would likely share similar scenarios. So I wanted to share the info.

I could be way off the mark when I say this, but I think Plano PD is always looking for quality officers. Good luck and welcome to North Texas!

Well I've done a little research on the area and had a couple friends from HS move near there and it looks nice. Warmer than it is in st Louis anyway.

Hopefully I will get to come and test for the department in the summer. I'll make sure I make a trip out of it and bring the Z down!

Had a great time at the show this morning. after we had breakfast at the original pancake house the sky looked awesome, so I decided to just cruise around by my place and find a descent spot to get a shot or two and take advantage of having the nice looking cloud texture with the fact that I actually have my camera on hand and that the Z had a fresh wash.
