So I am thinking of removing my HFC and putting on ART pipes....I am on the quest to reach the magic 300whp number. HA! My questions is this...When I go to do my inspection, do most shops in DFW do the OBD2 emissions test or do they do the sniffer test a.k.a. the ASM test? I know I wont pass the ASM test, but how many shops actually do that test?
If I remember right, most places check to see if everything is in working order...plug into the OBD2 port, if no CEL or histories of CEL's, you are good to go. I want these art pipes BAD. I have searched this issue thoroughly and have found no real answers. Any input/personal experience would be appreciated. Oh and BTW, I would appreciate help from DFW metro area folks as our testing has different requirements than some of the rural counties. Thanks in advance yall!
