Ok, you might hate me but I do not care.
We should probably move locations, in my thoughts this morning I was wondering about lighting at the mall in the parking lot. Which really, there is none probably, anywhere. On the other side of the freeway, I-10, there is a wonderful new plaza of buildings. HEB, Academy, food, etc., with all new lighting and some good places to eat. I think we should move location over there. You can get into the plaza from probably 5-10 entrances, but I think the best spot to meet would be in front of the Academy, low volume of cars and plenty of light. In the area for food is, Arby's, Freebirds, Olive Garden, Five Guys Burgers, and a few others. The circle is the general area I think where Academy is, as Google maps just puts the points on the very edge of the street and not in the plaza area.

If you guys agree, let me know so I can change the first post per the update.

Sure, it's like right across the highway from the previous location. I don't think anyone's going to say they could make it to one and not the other.

Clearly you under estimate how much I try to drive my car right now. I went to a farther out Al's Formal Wear to get fitted for a tux just so I could drive longer, and when I have to go pick it up. :D

I know exactly where it is. 5 guys burgers are all right if you dont mind paying 10 bucks for a combo. lol. Cool. Ill be there. Next time ICE.

Thanks for the heads up, I work in this area and we usually go to Sam's Deli diner which is <7USD for a burger, fries, and drink.

Bump again for the hell of it. You're all welcome to show up, whether you've got a Z yet or not. But especially bring your Z's, I know we have a few more around Houston somewhere recently. I want to get some photos of multiple Z's in the same place, which is a rare sighting :)

Just got back from this, was nice to see other Z's and compare notes in person and such.

tonmed123 got there first with his red 370, then I got there in my PG, then theDreamer with his PG 370 showed up too. After a while 3 asian guys randomly showed up in an Infiniti and came and talked to us and checked out the cars, they seemed to like what they were seeing. tonmed123 had to jet, theDreamer and I ate at Freebird's, and then JDM_ED showed up later with his white 370. Here's a few crappy cellphone pics. Nice meeting you guys :)

I took theDreamer on a tour of my favorite pair of S-curves when we left too. Traffic held us up on the first one, but I was able to open it up on the second one. I wish I had the camera mounted for that turn heh ;)

damn.. wish i didnt have work to go check stuff out. looking at the pictures and hearing about the meet, though it was small, is making me anxious to get mines. few more months.. x[

I'm sure it will grow over time, as more 370s are purchased in the area, and more owners find their way to the forums. From the sound of it, we're doing it again in about 2 weeks. theDreamer is the one taking charge of organizing it, I'm sure he'll post an update about that.

I'm in the Kemah/League City area. There is a few of us with 350z and one with a Silver 370z....
I'll let him know about this forum :tup:

Updated the first post with the next meeting, I am doing it this early as I will be leaving for a week and do not want to come back and it be three days away.

Hope more of you guys can make it, even if you have a 350z or other car, come on out.

The 23rd of this month? Darn, I do not get back until the 24th. Guess I will have to wait till the next one, hope more people can make it out for the next meet up. Also, I am up for moving the location a bit if people need to or having two locations for different weeks.

You can move it more central? What constitute central....lol, idk but it's a bit of a drive for us SE'siderz.

Unfortunately I do not travel much inside 610 much, I got to UH but that is about it currently. If anyone knows of a good lot in the central part of town that would be great, I picked the I-10 one because it was on the west, which fit most of the first members, and I knew that there were food places around if people wanted to eat.

No one else is here in Corpus Christi. I was told i was only the second person to buy the 370z here...And the same Zs are on the lot as when i bought mine...sheesh.
I know the other Z is monterrey blue...but i have never seen it out and about.
Im the only 370z that is out and about over here.

I re-spotted the same blue Z I saw before, same parking lot too, the some kind of motorcycle/powersports place (right next door to a Pep Boys) on 59S kinda near Beechnut/Fondren area. He's got real plates now (was dealer before), and statistically it's likely he works at the motorcycle place is my guess. I thought about leaving him a the370z.com link on a peice of paper on the windshield, but then I thought that sounded kinda creepy and left :)

We made business card for recruiting fellow enthusiasts as well. You never know if the owner is a "true" enthusiast or just bought the car b/c it's sexy and fast.

Don't think it's creepy....it would be weird at first, if caught :ugh2: but owner will know after ya'll talk :tup:
