PM Caravanshaka, he lives in Dallas, but he did the first DIY on LED landing strip, blacking out the headlights.

I want mine done but I might have the pros do it! This is one of the best looking mods hands down.

Same here...I don't have the balls to break apart my lights...I have a tendancy to break stuff. :iamwithstupid:

Nitex 03-02-2010 10:45 AM

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I did in fact go to R & N garage. I was the first 370z they have worked on however they have extensive time working on 240s, 300s, and 350s! Now they have experience with a 370z. I cant complain about their work, and if anyone in SA needs work done they can do it for you! I had them install my berk cats and gen 3 intakes. My CBE was installed by another shop.

I will be signing up for full member soon, i would like to get the 370zforum decal.

I was at the Cars and Coffee meet on Saturday the 27th. There was 4 370z that showed up! i was the only one with gen 3s, HFC's and exhaust! And of course a new Gallardo decided to park right next to me lol!

I just wish i put my hood down for the picture (guys were lookin at my Gen 3s).

The guy driving it had to no older than 25. We couldn't believe it. It also has dealer tags on it (2006). So he got it used.

theDreamer 03-02-2010 03:28 PM

Not to sound mean or anything, but I can bet many/most on this forum could buy a used Lambo/Ferrair/etc. but the extra costs are just crazy (even if you do not drive much). Most younger adults want a car they can drive, everyday maybe, with power.

Nitex 03-03-2010 08:52 AM

yeah also he pulled a 16point park job. Everyone was loving the car but couldn't help but shake our heads in dis belief as he just could not back the damn thing up lol..

Hey folks-

Dallas, Texas here. '09 Brilliant Silver Touring 6MT. I look forward to my Saturday morning errand runs...even if there are no errands! I'm in the North Dallas area but get over to the Fort Worth side often, since I have family and friends over in that neck of the woods. You can't help but notice my personalized plates that honor our Z pretty well. :)

Would like to meet up with some folks in the area from time to time that are just as obsessed with these machines as I am.

With regard to mods, I'm pretty basic. I prefer a clean, stock look. I also don't push the car too hard although I'm guilty of a few super-juvenile "on-boardings" to a few of the major highways in the area :)

Just recently swapped out all of my bulbs (with the exception of the parking lamps) with LEDs and the look rocks!

Since getting my Z back in December, I've only seen three other 370 rides, but the owners have all waved at me and seemed pretty friendly. For some reason, several of the dealerships in the area seem to keep these on the lot for long periods of time. I bought mine and it had been there for five months...I know, I know, but I got an UNBELIEVABLE deal on mine so I went for it.

Hit me back, would love to connect with some of the locals.

B

I'm near NW Hwy and the tollway.

vipor 03-03-2010 03:16 PM

You were probably the Z I saw a week or so ago in Las Colinas getting on 635 East. Still had tags on it.

Nah...close tho. I frequent that area since I work over there, but I've had my plates for a couple of months now. I haven't seen another silver one, yet. But I did see a Black Cherry roadster last week....WOW.

Do you go to every meeting? Thinking about attending next month.

vipor 03-22-2010 09:46 AM

Yeah I've only missed 1 since I got my Z

where as I have only MADE 1 since I got my Z :rofl2:

vipor 03-22-2010 11:05 AM

Yeah and you're probably only a little further than I

Had another Z34 show up last week. And a Nissan Rep, who didn't know too much and drove a G :shakes head:

roplusbee 03-22-2010 01:15 PM

<excited>

Finally picked up my NISMO. I must say that I am much happier that I exected to be. I am not sure if I have been away from my S13 Fastback for too long, but this car feels like it would outperform it. I had a cheesy grin on my face the whole way from Arkasas, even though I drove through snow twice. I even had an incident on a frozen ramp. Got a little sideways, but this car seems to correct itself. Not so sure how people are wrecking these cars because these things are awesome. $36K+ well spent in my opinion. BTW, when is the next meet in Austin or Dallas/DFW? I'll be ready with some tint and a detail (I hope). I am still feeling this Fairlady out, but she feels like a dream come true (to me at least).

</excited>

Caravanshaka 03-22-2010 01:20 PM

^Grats on the nismo

I'm thinking we need to do another dallas meet in april...thoughts?

theDreamer 03-22-2010 01:22 PM

Can we do mid-May, then school is done for me?
Car show & baseball? I believe hockey will be done by then.

well, my baby is due may 14th, so I can't guarantee making anything in may...but as long as its not within a couple days of her coming, then I should be ok for a show.

vipor 03-22-2010 01:57 PM

late april then? lol

Grats on the Nismo Rob :tiphat: Since kdo has been out of pocket you can replace him around there in the Red Z category. I know he'll be wanting to see it in person as soon as he has time.

theDreamer 03-22-2010 02:05 PM

Late April could work, final exams will have not started and no new exams should be around.

roplusbee 03-22-2010 06:45 PM

Aight. Works for me. I am not sure what the deal is for the next couple of weeks, but I am down for a drive in the near future. I am at 800+ right now, so just a bit more to go.

BlkCherryZ 03-22-2010 07:45 PM

I live in Carrollton, looking forward to some local meets...
