Good aligment shop in Houston/Katy,

or surroundings? It's ok if it's expensive, I want the job to be done right. I am on Swifts and SPC camber arms BTW. Thanks!!

Ron.

No one knows? :(

Can call Baker Tuning.

JB-370z 04-12-2011 03:42 PM

Baker Tuning, the alignment machine even works with super slammed cars like mine.

Dark Sarcasm 04-12-2011 05:56 PM

theres a place thats been around awhile but just opened a new location in Katy. Brumbergs or something like that. I'll try and look it up. Not sure if they cater to imports.

Ron 04-12-2011 05:57 PM

I'll give them a call, thanks guys!

Dark Sarcasm 04-12-2011 05:59 PM

They're not a very import-centric shop, no, but they are pretty nice guys, they know what they're doing, and they've been around a while.

shoopajae10 04-13-2011 01:29 PM

what do you guys think about NTB alignment? I hear they do lowered cars as well and for 275 you get 5 year unlimited alignment with whatever specs you want.

tsolin01 04-13-2011 01:59 PM

I guess it depends on how well you know the particular NTB and whether you trust them to not mess up your car. As with anything else, you get what you pay for.

I'm going to try out Pro Tuning Performance out in fort worth (Pro Tuning Performance - Dallas Fort Worth's Premier Road Race Performance Center - Homepage). They have top notch equipment and their prices aren't bad.

But for Houston, I'd probably go to Baker tuning so at least you have some piece of mind.

shoopajae10 04-13-2011 02:40 PM

^^ Sweet, I just called them and their prices are pretty good.

It is a pretty far drive but I think It'll be worth the trip. especially knowing that the alignment is done right with the right tools.

Ron 04-13-2011 10:48 PM

By the time I get to Dallas I'll be out of tires lol

Hey Ron just take it to Baker Nissan North and have Jason their GTR Tech do it. Hes quick, great with aftermarket arms and knows his stuff. He had mine in and out today with my SPL arms and all within 30min.

EDIT** said i just noticed im a little late on this o.0 others have posted about Baker and i failed to read all the posts ahh haha

phohman 04-15-2011 03:54 PM

Hey Ron There is Gary's Tire & Auto on Fry Rd. You should call to find out about the Nismo. They do great work!

Ron 04-15-2011 06:33 PM

I went to Baker Nissan and Jason did the aligment. I am within specs, but since I have 20mm spacers all around my rear tires are poking a little bit. Can't dial more neg camber bc toe is maxed out. I will be back next weds to install the toe bolts that came with the spc rear kit. Thanks all for the recommendations!
