I have an automatic. :/

Fast intentions long tube headers with the fast intentions cat back, 18" resonators and carbon fiber cans.

I'm down to do something Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Where do most of y'all take your z's to get maintenance done. I am thinking about getting my transmission fluid changed and engine oil changed. Clutch is a little rough on 1st and 2nd. If you all can tell me what liquids you always use that would be cool as well. (I have done searches but it is crazy to be honest.) Once I hear Pintsize725 exhaust ill prob buy FI tdx catback :) Thanks for the info.

The Z clinic comes highly recommended. You can also ask JARblue for any tips if you want to do it yourself.

We should meet up soon if you want to hear the exhaust. I'll be parting out near the end of the month. I'm also running the long tube headers with mine though.

Kevin is definitely the guy to go to for VQ motors. But fluid changes are easy. I would DIY. I've got everything you need except fluids if you want to come over. I can do it for you for a few bucks, or I can let you work on it yourself with my tools and guidance for a few beers.

5 quarts of Mobil 1 is $26 at Walmart, so that's always my choice. High quality, low price.

For clutch/brake fluid, I use Motul RBF600. It's cheaper online, but you can find it at Wood's Fun Center on I-35 just north of Braker on the frontage road northbound. Call first, though. They usually have at least one 500 mL bottle, but I sometimes need two or three (one for clutch, two for brake, three for both).

As for gear oil, I highly recommend Redline. I usually just order it from Amazon or a forum sponsor. But I have found a place in town that can get it for you next day usually. They're called Motormania and located on 620 a little south of Anderson Mill Lane. I assume this is for MT. I cannot do AT fluid change.

Thank you for the offer JARblue I might have to take you up on that offer at somepoint soon. I have some tools at home but I am not really use to this car just yet. As far as my manual transmission oil sure Ill get redline I care what I use but if its good for you as I have seen you on some posts about fluids its good for me  Do you have the link to the forum sponsor for redline for our cars. The weight we need is 75w-85 I think I am going to give Motormania a call for it. Ordered the motul oil from amazon already.

I'll see if Morbid370Z is interested too. I'll shoot him a text. I'm down for a bbq place other than Salt Lick lol. I can't drink so bars are out for me.

Z1 has everything you need. Compare to Amazon prices. As for Motormania, I would only use them if you needed the fluid quick and didn't want to pay for overnight shipping. They can get it in their daily delivery without an extra charge.

Oils & Lubricants

Get the Redline MT-85 for transmission fluid.

I would love to do Salt Lick and even have something I need to do in Driftwood as well. Unfortunately, I already have plans this weekend :(

I am free on Sunday, but I am booked up for Saturday. I sleep as soon as I get home from work, then I get my nerd on with some tabletop shenanigans. :D

Let me know if Sunday works for you.

Ordered everything last night. Sounds like a party at your pad JARblue :icon17: Let me know when you have some time. Perferably on a weekend so the beer will not go to waste. I would like to try it myself to be able to do it again in 30k miles. And I have a manual transmission. :driving:

I really want to hear this one for sure if you have time. Before I buy prob next week just in case I need to go non resonated.
