This will be the BIGGEST event Monster Energy has ever done with RKC. With the superbowl the same weekend, Monster Teams from all over the state and even from California will be in town to party. Monster wanted to show some love to their favorite car organization, RICEKILLER, by doing a special edition BLOCK PARTY! It was not easy to find the space, but Trophy Nissan in Mesquite has agreed to spend an entire day moving hundreds off cars off-site so we can do this ONE TIME ONLY BASH!

There will be at least 6 Monster Vehicles in the house, including 3 Sample Trucks, 2 Vans and the Monster Camaro. There might even be a special appearance of the Monster F-450 and the super-huge, MONSTER ENERGY 18 WHEELER! There will be music, prizes, food, and fun for everyone!

OF COURSE THIS EVENT IS 100% FREE! All "donation needs" have been paid for by our host TROPHY NISSAN so keep your hard-earned dollars in your pocket, or buy some BBQ or Fajitas on site!

Everyone is welcome to attend. However, parking is limited at 500 spots. Because of this, I am asking EVERY CAR to REGISTER FOR A FREE PARKING PASS. To register, simply send an email to jared@ricekiller.com with the title "MONSTER BLOCK PARTY PARKING". All information will be reviewed. Please include
-First & Last Name
-Type of Car & Year
-Any special information about your car/truck
-How many people will be riding with you
-1 picture of your car (as an attachment)

IF YOU DO NOT GET A FREE PARKING PASS VIA EMAIL, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PARK IN A SEPARATE SPECTATOR LOT!

Please do not apply for event parking pass if:
-Your car is a 100% stock daily commuter
-Your car is has bad body-damage
-Your car is not in "show" condition
-Your car is not clean

If your car does not meet the show requirements, or you just want to hang out, you are STILL welcome to come for free, simply park in the SPECTATOR AREA (Staff will be on site to help you park).

I think CCM is a fairly new meet, maybe 12-18 months old. I just got my pass for the block party a few minutes ago. Still thinking about CCM...

Zentropy, my wife and I will be in Arlington for the Superbowl and will be going to the Cars & Coffee. Never have been but have followed it here and on the corvetteforum when I have my vette. Hear it is alot of fun. :tup:

That block party sounds interesting but not sure if I should get a pass since my car looks pretty much stock lol

You should definitely come out. I've only been once before but had a great time and met a few forum members...who seem to be lurking right now.

Shoot them and email and see what they say. The worst they can say is no.

So for the new folks, we try and meet up ahead of time so that we can roll in and park together at C&C. Below is the relevant info.

Anyone staying in Austin for the weekend?
There is supposed to be a cruise with twisty-windy roads near lake Travis.

CCM was started by a girl and it's a rather new meet but it's not mostly girls, but us girls will be there! It's a huge event. Tiffany, the girl that started it originally baked a **** ton of cupcakes for the meet and all proceedings go to charity. I like that it's beneficial to the cummunity unlike RKC.

Now thats dedication! I'm seriously considering taking off for CCM. I think the cruise down there could be a lot of fun.

Turns out we may be skipping the RKC meet since it's over at 3 and CCM starts at 5... that leaves not much time and when cruising with a lot of people it tends to be slower. We will be leaving after Cars and Coffee/some breakfast.

I'll post the meet locations when we figure it out.

CCM came to dallas.. the AA Center and took up the entire parking lot.

it doesn't look like there'll be a whole lot of 370s at the RKC meet :/ so the few that actually got passes should probably roll in together lol

Whoever is going to RKC, we should pick a place to meet up beforehand so we can park together

dont think so they only have 500 spots and you had to be selected by sending a pic and a list of mods!!!!! if you dont have a pass there not going to let you in and you have to park in normal parking!!!

i think he/she already has a pass...... u can have a pass but parking is not set in stone... so as long as u roll in together, u can park together...

yup I got my pass so whoever else has a pass speak up and we'll figure out a place. If there's not that many of us, I wouldn't mind rolling in with some Gs hehe

I love G35s, I used to have one :yum: I prefer their look compared to the current G37s

I've got a pass and i'd like to meet up for RKC but I am going to C&C that morning. Depending on the time and place I may or may not be able to. What were yall thinking?
