Calling All North Texas 370z's To The Upcoming Dallas Cars and Coffee, Nov. 6th, 2010
 

Just wanted to remind all the Norh Texas 370z owners about the upcoming Dallas Cars and Coffee, which is held on the first Saturday of every month.

Its held at 6800 Dallas Pkwy. Plano, TX 75024....basically at Classic BMW off the Tollway and Spring Creek.

It starts at 8:00am, and finishes roughly at noon. Once 8am hits, the parking lot is pretty much full, and with the weather being super nice this fall, its just an added invitation to all the car nuts who only bring their cars out a couple times throughout the year.

If all the 370's want to park togther, I would highly recommend for everyone to arrive at 7:30am, yes I know thats super early on a Saturday morning, just try not to have that last extra drink that puts you over the edge at the bar Friday night! :icon17:

I will arrive at 7:30am to the parking lot and try to save spots but I can't promise anything. I will be in a New 2010 Red 370z Nismo.

Coming from a very active EVO club (NTEC), hopefully we can start organizing more 370z meets.

I'm a solid maybe...I might be out of town for business so its a toss up right now. I've been meaning to make it out to C&C, its so close to my house...

Kind of far from me but it is a maybe if I am not out of town.

I am driving from Desoto to the meet. Its about 40 minutes for me. But well worth it to get your exotic car fix.

I love going to these and I will be there, not sure if I will park it with everyone since I just got it and I won't have many mods on her by that time lol, but I will be there to take photos!

Mine is completely stock, don't worry about not having mods. There are a lot of cars there with no mods.

At least yours is a nismo lol, don't need much more to it. We should pick a spot to all meet and pull into the bmw lot at the same time. Or maybe not lol, just a suggestion.

Thats a good idea for everyone to meet up, then drive into the meet. Here is the place we can all meet at, pretty much just south of the Cars and Coffee. It will be the parking lot of Tinseltown Plano Movie Theater. Exit Parker Road heading north on the Tollway, its two exits before Spring Creek. Below is the location where we will meet. We can meet there at 7:15am before the meet, then all drive together in the Cars and Coffee parking lot.

Will I have to have a toll tag cause, ya I don't have one lol, I usually just take other routes to skip the toll way lol. (if there is a side road along the tollway in that area I can just take that which I think the side road does run along the tollway down south of the cars & coffee meet).

You do not have to have a Toll Tag to drive down the Tollway. You can still pay the .75 cents or whatever they charge now everytime you go through a main toll booth (the ones actually on the tollway, the exite and entry toll booths are normally cheaper, like .45 cents or so) But, from the movie theater we can just take the access road along side the tollway to the Cars and Coffee to keep from having to pay for double toll booths. The movie theater is only maybe a 1/2 mile from the Cars and Coffee.

Okay sounds good, hopefully the weather is good that day as well.

I've been going to this meet nearly every single month for the last year and a half.....so I'll be there.

Yes I know David, black Evo X, black powder coated wheels, and ya'll live some where downtown in a highrise (I know that sounds creepy but I remember when he or ya'll moved into the highrise.....he posted pics on Evolutionm).

He said that you guys will be able to make it. You'll be in the White Nismo 370z.

thats all the dfw members on here with 370z's, me sad lol. maybe we can all do some type of mini photo shoot after the meet...just a suggestion.

It shouldn't be too cold, I'm thinking around 50ish, but with the sun shining and hopefully very little wind, it could feel warmer than 50ish

There is no rain in the forecast, got that covered. Its going to be sunny with a high of 68-70 with a low of 50-54. But being that early in the morning, the temps will be closer to mid 50s, and by noon, it should be around 60ish.

Not positive, but gonna try.

I was hoping a lot more 370Zs would be on the list by now, where are all the DFW Z's?

There are usually more GTRs than 350Z's at this meet...seriously...and this is a high turnout for 370Z's actually....I've never seen more than a few 350Z's there.

I'm going to try and make it.

I'm hoping to get there at 7:30AM, but with my friend riding along....that might not be possible.

Off topic, I'm curious to compare my clutch pedal to others. Does anyone else have a vibration in their clutch pedal when pressed all the way to the floor?

People on the forum keep saying it's normal, but I'm still not convinced.

I drive 45 miles one way to work everyday, and I have yet to see another 370Z on the road. Heck, when I had my Denali truck and my EVO X I still never saw one. This will be my first time to see one outside of a dealership lot.

And yes, the GTR is plentiful at Cars and Coffee. Hopefully we can match their numbers this time.

As for the clutch pedal, haven't really noticed mine, but I will pay attention driving home from work today.

I used to never see 370Z's on the road....maybe once a month. And believe me, I look....I still look at 350Z's too. I have even seen two 370Z's in one day. Maybe it's just location or timing? But they are out there....the truth is that nothing is rare in Dallas though....this car meet on Saturday proves it.

One month there must have been roughly 12 GTRs at cars and coffee; that was when Jotech was having their open house/dyno day following the meet.

I would take my 350Z up to C&C all the time, but there was never very many of them there......and honestly, at this meet you're not looking at 350Zs and 370Zs.....lol....there's way too much other cool stuff :)

I will be coming for sure, just need to give the car a bath.

Yes, I will be washing mine today after work in preparation for tomorrow.
