Missed this last one, had at to make a quick trip to Yellowstone for the week. Did some emergency fly fishing and so on. Looks like there was a good turnout. Will try to make the next one.

Car show in leander. Austin says its really good, we should meet up tomorrow morning and head over there!

How long does it take to get there from our normal Cars and Coffee spot?

not sure, i would think its at least 10-15. we might want to meet somewhere a little more north up 183, because its closer to where we would be going.

I'm up for it. Someone name a time and place to meet up before we head up there -- Not really familiar with Austin north of Anderson, but that's what the Nav is for :)

OK I guess we could just meet there. I thought the idea was to meet up a little before and head up there together.

I'm game either way, thought it would be cool to meet like 1/2 way there or something and go together

I think it would be cool to meet up ahead of time too, it's just too early for me,
but I will be there at 10.

Maybe we could coordinate this if someone knows a place ahead of time that is
on the way- just post a place, but I'd like to get there at 10 because most people
are already there and it's cool to see the newcomers roll up

should meet at the lowes/walmart at RR620 (45) and US-183. i used to live up there, its basically the last exit before toll 183A splits from 183. I would think like 945ish. Let me know if you guys are game, it is last minute!

Today at the "Cars and Coffee™ Austin" event we got asked what our affiliation
is (the organizers were collecting the info to support the event). I wasn't sure what
to put down.

What about we name the group "Austin-370Z". When the affiliation would be
put down we'd put "Austin-370Z (the370Z.com)".

What does everyone think? A quick search showed the name open

-that would make the event for this thread "Austin-370Z Cars+ & Coffee"

That sounds fine. You should suggest on the "forum improvement" section that AK support "user interest" groups. You'd have to buy that premium membership though ;)

Or we could run everything from this thread (the monthly threads),
b/c I would assume that other events would come out of the same
pool of people & it would inc. exposure of the monthly thread.

For example I would be up for a "Wanted" movie night, I've been
wanting to see that again, & I have it on Blu-ray

I like Austin-370Z

I thought "Austin-370" was good because it's a little less obvious, but
still gets the point across.

Also, when talking about the car I usually find myself or others
shortening 370Z to just 370 (little easier to say). As far as I know, no
other car maps to 370. But, we could always go to "Austin-370Z" and
just go by "Austin-370" for short.

Just depends on what everyone wants to do
